Graves/Grindelwald- Respect

(Anonymous) 2016-12-26 08:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I'd like a fic where Grindelwald respects Graves too much to rape him. When Grindelwald kidnapped Graves to impersonate him, the Director very nearly won the duel. Recognizing strength, Grindelwald offered Graves a powerful place in his organization, only to have Graves spit in his face and stick to his ideals. This leads to the biggest crush Grindelwald has ever had since Dumbledore.

Graves/New - a/b/o trope inversion

(Anonymous) 2016-12-26 08:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Omega!Graves and Alpha!Newt make an odd couple to people who don't know them and even to some who do. A lot of people assume the opposite when they first meet and are surprised to find out their actual orientations.

But in the comfort of their own home or in the company of trusted friends and family, Graves and Newt are free to relax and truly be themselves. Grave is pushy, fussy and demanding of his alpha, while Newt is patient, giving and more then happy to accommodate his omega in any way he can.

Ice Skating AU: Graves/Newt

(Anonymous) 2016-12-26 10:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Yuri On Ice inspired.

Newt loves Iceskating, however, his recent failure to place in the last competition lowers his already low self esteem. He spends the week in a depressing gloom; binge eating and shutting himself away. Luckily, his supportive elder brother Theseus has a solution. Get his bro a coach but not just any coach…. a male Ice Skating legend, Percival.

So imagine Newt’s shock one day when he opens his door to find Percival standing there.

The Coat is legendary in the Aurors offices. Graves never took it off (except, some ventured to postulate, possibly behind the closed doors of his office).

It's a Thing, a known quantity of working at MACUSA, like the fact that Queenie Goldstein always knows everything there is to know about what's going on with everyone in the building or the fact that Madame Picquery has a "secret" stash of cinnamon candies on her at all times.

It is the one thing that really should have tipped them all off that the man they had been taking orders from for over a year was not, in fact, Percival Graves.

Tina had dropped her folder in shock at seeing his shirt sleeves for the first time in almost three years of working with the man and yet none of them had thought it more than a little odd; like a woman one has known for years to have massive, elaborate hairdos to suddenly chop it all off for one of those modern bob styles the No-Maj's were becoming increasingly fond of.

The reason for Graves' fondness for his coat becomes hideously apparent when they finally find him after nearly a week of searching.

Newt imagines that in their prime Graves' wings are something truly awe-inspiring, but as it is the ill-nourishment and torture have taken their toll. Half the feathers are gone: molted from lack of nourishment in some places, torn or burned off in others. One hangs awkwardly: dislocated, at the very least, if not broken altogether.

As he slowly approaches the fluffed and quivering auror Newt is cataloging coloration, shapes of the wings, shape of the feathers, all the minutia a magi-zoologist needs to know to tell one creature from it's fellow herd-member.

"So, a harpy." Newt says, quietly. "Was it on your mother's side or your fathers?"

Newt isn't expecting the vicious punch he gets in response.

Graves/Grindelwald- Sex Tape, angst, noncon, exhibitionism

(Anonymous) 2016-12-26 10:39 pm (UTC)(link)
While Grindelwald geld Graves captive, he raped him and recorded everything he made Graves do on the Wizarding equivalent of a tape. After Graves is rescued, Grindelwald threatens to have his followers send it to everyone in MACUSA if Graves doesn't help him escape. Graves refuses and Grindelwald follows through on his threat.

Bonus if most people don't look down on Graves, but it's bad enough having to go to work and see the pity in people's eyes.

“If you love something, set it free. If it comes back it was always yours. If it doesn't, it never was.”

Percival loves Newt but soon realises he can't cage him or Newt will wilt like a flower. So even though it almost destroys him, he lets him go. Newt, for probably the first time ever feeling safe (aside from his family), comes back.

Grindelwald/Graves Storytelling during Captivity

(Anonymous) 2016-12-26 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
I am a sucker for GGPG fluff-- as fluffy as this non-conny ship can get.

Grindelwald makes Graves tell him something personal every night. At first Graves is cautious, he suspects that anything he divulges may be used against him, perhaps to gain the trust of someone he's close to. Except Grindelwald appears to be genuinely interested and life in captivity is tiring and lonely. So over time Graves opens up to him, and doesn't realize it until one day Grindelwald does something for him that relates to one of the stories he's told.

Graves and Grindelwald - Victim Blaming

(Anonymous) 2016-12-26 10:47 pm (UTC)(link)
So Grindelwald is caught and Graves is found. He’s not in the best shape but he still gets back to work as soon as he escapes the hospital and he is as damn good as he has always been.

However, someone or someones (could be criminals, could be Graves own auror department, could even be all of the above) think Graves capture proves that he’s gone soft. That the fact Grindelwald got the better of him was some sort of failing on Graves part. That it’s because Graves is so out of touch that no one noticed his replacement.

This person/persons manages to sow the seeds of doubt in a few minds and whispers start up. Graves grits his teeth and continues with his work, intending to prove he’s every bit as capable as his standard has always been (a standard that is already leagues ahead of common people). He gives no response to the rumours whatsoever.

But someone else has heard the whispers and becomes gravely offended (pun possibly intentional). Grindelwald isn’t happy that losing to him is seen as weak, as if he’s some low level thug that can only defeat the truly pathetic. He hunts down the source of the rumour and proves why he’s known as a Dark Lord and why he is so feared.

Bonus Round:
+1 – Grindelwald’s response is partially caused by a level of respect that formed for Graves. (because holding someone captive makes the heart grow fonder)

+1 – (if filler goes with aurors) To show how easy it is to get away with impersonations Grindelwald steals their face. Sure enough no one notices...except Graves who is ALL OVER THAT and cursing Grindels seconds after he walks through the door.

TLDR: Someone/s think Graves is weak for losing to Grindelwald. Grindelwald sets that record f-ing straight.

A/B/O - Alpha/Omega Muggles, Beta Witches and Wizards

(Anonymous) 2016-12-26 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Basically what it says on the tin. A flip on the trope that seems to have formed in quite a few a/b/o fics around here where only magicals can be alpha or omega (not that they aren't awesome and the light of my life, I just want to see the other side). So let's see a world where all wizards and witches are beta or just nul and all muggles/no-maj are either alpha or omega.

Bonus if hate groups tend to use this fact to try and bolster their campaigns eg: Mary Lou claims the fact witches lack A/O dynamics is proof they are rejected by God while Grindelwald claims A/O dynamics is proof muggles are little better than animals controlled by heats/ruts.

Gen or Newt/Graves - Newt is a badass without his wand

(Anonymous) 2016-12-26 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
So, did anyone catch how in the movie, in the execution room, Newt totally kicks ass without magic? He can throw one hell of a punch for a damn magizoologist when his back is to the wall! And word wouldn't exactly travel fast- who would want to admit to getting punched out or otherwise physically bested by a seemingly scrawny academic? Maybe Theseus insisted he learn, maybe he went through the same training as others who got 'drafted' into the war, but either way, he can damn well defend himself without a wand if need be.

So, how about five times someone was surprised by Newt kicking ass and taking names without a single spell, and one time that his reputation finally preceded him?

Theseus & Newt (Gen or Incest) - PTSD Recovery

(Anonymous) 2016-12-27 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
After the war Theseus comes back with PTSD, and stays with Newt to recover because we all know Newt is the perfect caretaker.

Whenever Theseus gets nightmares, Newt's there to hug him/sing him back to sleep. When Theseus gets flashbacks, Newt's there to calm him down in soothing voices and hair petting and all that.

(Gen scenario)
Theseus and Newt not being all that close before the war, due to age difference or whatever, but after living with Newt, Theseus becomes protective of his adorable little bro and appreciates his compassionate nature a lot more.

(Incest scenario)
After fighting in the war for who knows how long, Theseus develops an infatuation with Newt's warmth and gentleness, and starts displaying possessiveness over his little brother's attention. Whether it's one-sided or if Newt reciprocates is up to you. (Bonus for Theseus being obsessed with Newt's scent, and habitually buries his face in Newt's neck and just breathes in).

Fill: Blood of My Blood

(Anonymous) 2016-12-30 07:32 pm (UTC)(link)
[A/N: This could be seen as Gen with overly tactile Scamanders or blink-and-miss-it pre-slash. Who knows? Not me.]

The voice that called out to him in the dark would have been too soft to rouse him from sleep, if the loud steps shuffling into the room hadn't woken him up already. Like clockwork, his hands drew back the bedcovers, breathing steady; even as he braced himself against the body flung across his own without any warning. He pressed his palm to the clammy nape and drew his brother's face into the crook of his neck, feeling him inhale sharply before letting out a shuddering breath.

There were no words needed to break the silence. Some nights, having Newt in his sights was enough; being able to feel him, hear him, /scent/ him was all he needed to slip back into sleep. Others required something else, something more. Needed Newt's low humming (still loud enough to drown out his own whimpers), quietly spoken words of reassurance and gentle fingers running through his hair as ever trembling hands held the younger man in place. The worst nights were the ones where the fear meant he didn't dare close his eyes, paralyzed by the pictures in his own mind. When he couldn't speak, could scarcely breathe and all he did was bite down into the meat of Newt's shoulder in a futile attempt to abate some of the terror. (Newt had never known what it was like to be truly scared till the first time he saw Theseus in his catatonic state, eyes unblinking, mind trapped in some unknown past - and later, throat wrecked raw despite never having uttered a single word.)

Tonight, however, was not one of the nights that Newt lost his brother to the memories. He could feel the tips of the other man's fingers brush across his collarbone, over his nightshirt, in some pattern that made sense to Theseus; a clear indication that his mind was in place today. There probably wouldn't be any talking tonight and Newt was just about ready to call it a night when a gravelly whisper tore itself out of Theseus' throat.

"I’m sorry."

Newt blinked in the darkness. He wasn’t sure if he was more surprised by what Theseus said or by the fact that he spoke of his own accord. His hands stilled where they had been carding through his brother's hair as he waited for him continue. When it was clear that nothing else was forthcoming he let out a hushed "Whatever for?", unwilling the break the quiet of their little bubble.

Long moments passed and Newt resigned himself to the silence. Theseus would speak when he wanted to, and Newt would always be there to listen. Resuming his soothing strokes from hair to back, Newt began to hum, not stopping till he heard Theseus snuffling as he settled into sleep again.

***

A year ago, had someone told Newt that there would come a day when he'd be the one attempting to interact with people solely in the hopes of them leaving Theseus alone, he would've wondered (not for the last time) if he was being mocked in a way he didn't quite understand. It was funny, in the way it wasn't funny at all, that things had come to this- Newt intercepting every single guest who tried to make their way over to where his brother was drinking in the corner. Theseus, who always seemed larger than life to all around him, flinching imperceptibly at every too loud crackle from the fireplace.

There were only two ways anyone ever dealt with Theseus anymore. Their parents (like most people who had known the older of the brothers as the red cheeked, bright eyed child and later as the charming, rakish young man he was before the war; wide grin never having changed in the years) didn't know how to come to terms with the shell-shocked doppelganger left behind, and proceeded to treat him as though he hadn't changed in the slightest. That Theseus would go back to being the man who cared about nothing more than filling up dance cards and riding off into the countryside. (And he might be that man again, Newt wasn't denying that, just not now, not so soon after-)

But Newt knew for a fact that even well-meaning denial was miles better than those who thought lesser of Theseus, for not being able to cope with a war that left him almost completely unscathed. These were the people that made Newt plant himself fiercely in front of the older Scamander, remembering all the times Theseus did the same for him when they were younger. This, of course, led to inescapable situations like the one he currently found himself in. The Crerers, by virtue of their well-established familiarity with the Scamanders, found themselves unfailingly included on the Boxing Day guest list every year. Newt was aware of their youngest son’s longstanding friendship with Theseus, but he understood the latter’s need to divorce himself from others at the moment. And so, Newt, with no small amount of subtlety swooped in and tried to draw Crerer’s attention away from Theseus.

Talking to Crerer was not as awful as Newt had imagined. He was polite but not standoffish, easy-going but not callous, he didn’t mind the lack of eye contact and even seemed to show genuine interest in what Newt had to say about the proper care of horses. Newt might have passed the entire afternoon in his company, if it wasn’t for the sudden sound of breaking glass. Like a whiplash, he snapped his head around only to catch sight of Theseus rapidly walking away from a pile of shards, faint drops of blood trailing behind him like a twisted version of bread crumbs.

Uncaring of whether or not he excused himself for his hasty departure, Newt made to follow his older brother. He didn’t have to go too far. Theseus was at the back of the house, leaning against the wall while cradling his injured arm. He paid no heed to Newt even as the younger stood right in front of him.

Moments passed before Newt, as gently as he handled his creatures, held the bloodied hand in his own and examined it. It was a shallow wound, sluggish bleeding already drawing to a stop. Still, it could do with a-

“I hate it.”

If they weren’t standing so close to each other, the barely spoken words would have gone unheard. The fact that he didn’t follow up with anything didn’t bother Newt. Besides, of late, it wasn’t out-of-the-way for Theseus to cut himself off even before he began to speak. Which explained why Newt did not expect rough hands on his shoulders turn him around and /shove/ him against the side of the house.

“I /hate/ it.”

Those three words carried more vehemence that he had ever heard in Theseus’ voice. He could feel the blood smearing his shoulder where he was gripped tight but he ignored it as he waited- for his brother to let him go, for his brother to continue, for his brother to finally let out his emotions as little more than half-spilled whispers in the dark.

“I hate that I’m not what I used to be. That I don’t remember the last time food didn’t taste like ash or when I could meet and talk to people and not see pity or scorn or disappointment scrawled across their faces. I can’t sleep, I can’t even shut my eyes without thinking about fire and carnage and screams and death. It’s /crippling/. The fireplace, the hunting guns, smoke from the kitchens, Christmas crackers- there’s no knowing what sends me right back to that place, like I’m back in the trenches and I never really left. It just /chokes/ me up from the inside, Newt, squeezes out every bit of air from my lungs and I can tell that it’s going to kill me but then. Then I see you. And things right themselves again. When you’re around, I can- I can just breathe. But when you aren’t there, when I look at you all caught up in talking to oth-”

He stopped as abruptly as he started and tugged Newt’s shirt down to reveal the harsh looking bite mark left behind two nights ago, just below Newt’s collarbone. Shaky fingers traced the edges of the imprint and Newt shivered at the sting of the residual pain. He was panting just as sharply as Theseus, waiting, watching to see what he would do next, if he would-

They stood there for seconds, hours, eons before the spell broke and Theseus pulled away entirely. A rough hand stroked through Newt’s hair and cupped his cheek for a minute. “Sometimes I feel that if I have you, Newt, I won’t go completely mad.” With one last penetrating stare, Theseus retreated brusquely to the house.

Newt stayed behind with blood stains drying on his skin and the ghost of his brother’s words.

***

Night found his brother in his bed again. They had long since given up the pretext of sleeping in separate rooms, on different beds. Newt suspected that their parents were aware of this development, but as with everything else, chose not to say a word and have their suspicions confirmed. It was irrelevant though, especially as Newt didn’t see any need for their current arrangements to change in the near foreseeable future. He curled up next to his brother, letting Theseus' warmth lull him to sleep. His heavy eyes almost slipped closed when-

“Why are you still here?”

A year since he had returned home. It was the longest time Newt had spent in one single place, ever since he first left all those years ago. Home had always been the case, with his creatures – who accepted and loved him for him; and who he treasured and comforted in return. The more he thought about it, the more he realized that the situation with Theseus wasn’t any different. The need to protect and soothe and heal was the same. Only, Theseus didn’t need feeding and grooming and coddling, he just needed-

-he just needed Newt to be who he was. Newt would never deny him that, and not just because no one other than his creatures had wanted that of him before.

“Because I want to be.” And it was the truth. Somewhere along the way he, too, had learned to cherish, not the twisted vines of fate that brought them here but these quiet moments of contentment, of irreplaceable closeness, of just /being/; without a thought to the world outside of their own.

Theseus nuzzled the soft hair at his temple, catching Newt’s scent as any of his other affectionate creatures might before trailing down to his cheek, pressing the lightest of kisses against the corner of Newt’s lips. He rolled the younger over until they were back-to-chest and swaddled him in his arms, face buried in the now familiar spot at the side of Newt’s neck; drifting off to the dulcet tones of Newt singing.

Newt/Percival/Credence: Percival makes it his mission to make Newt and Credence laugh and smile

(Anonymous) 2016-12-27 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
After he is rescued and recovering from his ordeal, Percival is in a relationship with Newt and Credence. They have plenty of issues between the three of them, but one of the things that Percival has noticed is that both Newt and Credence rarely smile and laugh. Sure, Newt always has a smile for his creatures and for Percival and Credence, but other than that he just has this glumness to him. Credence obviously rarely smiles, still afraid even now that Mary Lou is no longer there to beat the joy out of him.

Seeing this, Percival decides to do his utmost to make his lovers smile and laugh as often as possible. He starts randomly cracking jokes both at home, and surprisingly at work. From there he starts playing good natured pranks on his two lovers with the help of the creatures, and finally, while making love, Percival gently exploits the ticklish spots on both his loves.

Soon, Percival's efforts pay off as Newt and Credence's smiles and laugh comes more and more easily, culminating in one epic event that leaves everyone laughing so hard they start crying.

Graves/Newt/Theseus - incest, societal expectations, a/b/o

(Anonymous) 2016-12-27 01:55 am (UTC)(link)
The Scamanders are an old pure blood family who have churned out generations of respected Alphas and a handful of Betas here and there. Imagine the scandal that rocks the British wizarding aristocracy when Theseus Scamander is born an omega. The only saving grace is second born Newt, an alpha, or so the family elders think.

Theseus' life mission is to defy all expectations of him as an omega. He excels at Defense Against Dark Arts, becomes Quidditch captain of his house, is named the only omega Prefect in his entire duration at Hogwarts and is begrudgingly accepted into the Auror training program because of his outstanding grades. Newt, on the other hand is far too interested in all sorts of magical creatures and has no interest in fulfilling the own set of expectations set up for him, especially having seen how hard Theseus had to fight to earn even a shred of respect.

After New York, Newt finds himself circling another Alpha, Percival Graves. Both of them can't seem to stop gravitating towards one another, but can't seem to take the final plunge. A request comes from the Ministry of Magic for a team of American Aurors to come over and help with the growing number of attacks from dark wizards. Graves comes along in his official capacity as Director, but also as an opportunity to see his old friend, Theseus and Newt would never pass up an opportunity to spend time with his brother. Not that he'd know if the official request memos mentioned anything about dragons.

During a raid Theseus is injured and brought to Newt's suitcase to be patched up. But whatever curse that hit him throws Theseus' hormones into overdrive and he goes into an intense heat. The only alphas around are his brother and his friend, who are valiantly trying to ignore the wave of pheromones Theseus' body is pumping out. But he just smells so good, like the missing piece to the puzzle Newt and Graves have been trying to finish.

Up to the author if the Scamanders are twins or not!

Original Percival Graves/Newt Scamander

(Anonymous) 2016-12-27 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
I was listening to some jazzy/swing music from the 20s/30s (think Duke Ellington or Glen Miller), and suddenly wanted to read about Newt and Percival going to some kind of MACUSA company ball and dancing together!
Percival is very good at dancing and all the ladies want to dance with him because he looks so fine in a tux. Newt is standing around awkwardly (totally not checking out Percival) and Percival comes over to encourage him to dance with someone and jokingly spins Newt in an underarm turn. Newt clumsily falls into Percival's chest and then their dance takes a more romantic tone.. Queenie and Tina watch gleefully from the sidelines, obviously ;)

Newt/Percival/Credence: They all get so busy they neglect each other, the creatures intervene

(Anonymous) 2016-12-27 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
Newt, Percival, and Credence are in a relationship and everything is going well at first, but slowly things start getting hectic. Like Percival being bogged down with more work that usual, Newt totally wrapped up in getting his book finished, and Credence diving head first into his magical studies. They barely have time for each other and the loneliness starts to grate on all of them. They even start clashing with each other.

The creatures pick up on all of this tension and decide to do something about it. Cue the hilarious hijinks with some of the creatures dragging Percival out of work, others hiding Newt's manuscripts, and still others faking injury or illness to get Credence to put down his wand and stop practicing for a bit. It culminates in one giant pile of love and reconnection as Newt, Percival, and Credence finally spend quality time together.

Percival Graves/Credence Barebone Transformation

(Anonymous) 2016-12-27 02:17 am (UTC)(link)
I'd love a fic where Newt takes Credence under his wing and teaches him magic/magizoology. They return to New York after a few years, visit MACUSA and Graves has a love at not-quite-first sight moment. Kinda like Nanny McPhee where Evangeline the chambermaid is transformed into such a lovely lady that Colin Firth realises he loves her? A bit like that, maybe. Bonus points for long hair + stylish Credence a la Leon Dupuis and Credence still crushing on Graves despite the years apart.

Newt/Graves - Newt crushing on Graves since he was young

(Anonymous) 2016-12-27 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
Ever since he was little, no more than 8 or 9, Newt has heard all about Theseus' American friend and penpal, Percival Graves. Graves is around 15 or 17 at the time. He grows up hearing about Graves and even meets him a couple of times. Percival is very kind to him, but doesn't pay much mind to him. He's just Theseus' brother, he's just a child. Despite this, Newt develops a huge crush on him (though he would never, ever tell Theseus)

Later, they meet again, maybe after the events of the movie, or before. And Percival realizes that Newt is all grown up. And he's gorgeous.

Cue Percival hanging around Newt more, trying to find a good way to ask him out. Newt is completely oblivious. He's basically been in love with Percival since he was a kid. Percival would never like him that way, right?

Accent Wars; other MACUSA employees, maybe Graves/any

(Anonymous) 2016-12-27 04:02 am (UTC)(link)
So New York is a melting pot of backgrounds and the MACUSA employ people from all over the country.

That means some permutation of every accent and vernacular ever is flying around and statistically speaking there's at least one employee for every accent that finds that accent hot.

Like there's a Southern Belle throwing a fit over a coworker from Louisiana's voice while her cubicle neighbor just loves to hear her complaining because of her voice.

But like everyone flips the table when Percival "[Grand]son of Irish Immigrants" Graves's accent slips when he's irritated and he starts angrily spewing Gaelic curses every which way when something goes tits up. (I know he's descended from one of the MACUSA founders but maybe his mom married in or something, I need some Irish Graves in my life)

Bonus points for (non-angsty) humorous cultural arguments like over what food tastes better (Carolinians and Georgians will fight over peaches all day but all agree them northerns don’t know good fruit), pronunciations ("You pronounce it like it's spelled!" "Well then you're not spelling it right!"), whether tea should be iced and sweet ("Like it was intended!") or hot and unsweetened ("Like it was originally made!"), or just how much they all want Graves to do them ("Whoever did this drawing of the Director as a scantily-clad Celtic warrior is my new hero.")

Graves/Newt, Painting

(Anonymous) 2016-12-27 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
Newt sees a painting of Graves and fall in love, vice versa. And then they meet each other, whether it's in New York, or London, or other places. They're both taken aback a little since the image portrayed on the paintings is a bit different. For example in the painting Graves smiles gently while actually the real Graves is a serious and reserved person and only smile rarely. Or Newt is portrayed in painting as an avenging angel, etc.

Bonus: Either Newt or Graves saves Credence from Mary Lou.

Brightly Colored creatures tend to be dangerous, Newt wear Bright blue?

(Anonymous) 2016-12-27 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
In nature, bright coloring is generally a warning to predators to keep away. Unfortunately most wizards are not students of nature, and don't understand what the bright blue jacket of one Newt Scamander might mean.

The idea being Newt, as a student of nature, is aware of the rule of thumb about how brightly colored creatures are often poisonous, and it acts as a warning to predators, and so takes on the habit himself? Or it's unintentional.

*Could be specific to Grindelwald not knowing he should back off or get his arse handed to him by the seemingly benign Newt, or it could be a 5+1 of wizards who should have paid attention to what bright coloring usually means.

Graves / Newt, Graves love Newt but want the divorce -angst-

(Anonymous) 2016-12-27 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
Newt saw the papers that Tina extended to him without really understanding why she was offering them, why he would want to divorce Percival? He was a perfect husband, he dont want a divorce! If sometimes Percival seemed a little cold and distant but that was only when he was at work, at his home Percival was very affectionate and tender with him, although unfortunately they did not have much time for that, after all Newt sometimes became uncomfortable and Asked for his space or spent much time with his creatures ... sometimes he spent days on some trip but Percival never complained! After all, he also had his work and Auror things he would do when he was not ... right?
Percival never complained about the wreckage that the creatures made, even in his office or when I make a fool of him even in front of President Picquery, if Newt was in trouble saying that he was the husband of Percival Graves, director of the MACUSA He had saved more than once and Percival never complained about all the paperwork he had to do or the explanations he would have to give for Newt, he never scolded him or tried to keep him from making his trips, he never made him go to those boring parties Or work meetings, him understood his privacy, even when it was a birthday party he did not demand to go, Percival invite him but did not force him to go ("It's just an anniversary party the day I was born, it's not such a day Important ") and did not get angry when Newt accepted that he did not know that it was his birthday.
Percival never demanded that she fulfill his husband's papers, not even on her wedding night, nor was he angry that they had no honeymoon, although Percival had requested specific vacations for it, but it was not Newt's fault that in that week The nesting season of one of his creatures and the like, Newt thought of compensating for it-one day when he would make time.
Percival was exceptional and patient, always left him with hot food on the table and allowed Newt to sleep with his creatures when he wanted to sleep or eat alone and when they ate together he patiently listened to all his adventures with his creatures without interrupting, sometimes he wondered If Percival wanted to tell him something, but he imagined that he would only talk to him about the MACUSA paperwork and he would be discouraged a little and let it pass.

It was also great that Percival was a friend of Tina, so I saw her and Queenie from time to time, remembered that once Newt came and found the girls with chicken broth and some savannahs, it was good that the girls came, they were so homey Which made everyone better, even Percival who sometimes looked rather pale, always looked better with them nearby.

"Tina, I do not want to divorce Percival ... sometimes it's a rough thing, but-" Tina's raised hand stopped him.

"Not Newt, it's Percival who wants to divorce you ... the papers are signed.

Oh.

Newt did not realize the deep depression that Percival was suffering, his illnesses, his growing anxiety, the shame and recharge he was every day at work, the long nights dining alone and did not even notice when Percival took his things And left the apartment they shared.

Theseus appears to intercede for the couple, demands an old protocol not to break the marriage: a test season, a time where Newt will have to work hard to save his marriage and not accommodate Graves' generosity and convince Tina and Queenie that he can To be a good husband to hers adopted brother baby, yes, the sisters took Percival under his care completely angered by the sadness that the auror was suffering and drowned him day by day.

Graves + Credence, Fix-It (Or make it worse)

(Anonymous) 2016-12-27 05:05 am (UTC)(link)
Graves had been watching over Credence before Grindelwald supplanted him. During the big showdown, Graves manages to escape his prison and, despite being badly wounded, apparates to the scene.

Just in time to throw up shields to protect Credence from the aurors' attempts to kill him.

No-Angst Option:
The shield works. Credence survives, Grindelwald is defeated, and Credence gets to experience what it's like to have the real Graves fighting in his corner.

Angst Option:
Graves is weakened by torture and wandless, so while he's able to shield Credence the strain of it kills him. Credence survives, Grindelwald is defeated, but Credence will never truly know the man who gave everything to protect him.

Graves/Grindelwald, Tsundere stalker Grindelwald

(Anonymous) 2016-12-27 05:23 am (UTC)(link)
Grindelwald is clumsy, yes, he is egocentric and a fanatic but it is when he has an audience, being alone is shy and awkward and worse, powerful, so when he kidnaps Graves to take his place he keeps him unconscious to be able to have advances on He, at first only touch and admire that beautiful face but ... to have someone you like to your mercy ... is too tempting, starts to increase the intensity, touching it deeper, getting undressed, using his hands to simulate caresses, Are hands so warm, inadvertently ends masturbating on the chest of Graves coming in his beautiful face. He does not want to wake him up, he knows that Graves will not want him, when they finally rescue him he goes crazy, he wants his toy back, he escapes from the MACUSA to try to woo Graves, maybe get his attention somehow between psycho and tender. Graves is losing his fucking shit, is terrified and only want to be alone.

"I...It's not like I li...like you, I just want my toy back!!!!!!!"
