Newt, Credence, and Percival are together with Newt and Percival taking charge of Credence's magical education. Percival loves to teach Credence what he knows, but he thinks that Credence prefers Newt and is still wary of Percival after the Grindelwald mess. Soon, Newt and Credence get so caught up in magical creatures that they start to forget dates with Percival. Percival doesn't mind at first, but it keeps happening until finally, Newt and Credence forget something really important, like an award ceremony in Percival's honor.
When Newt and Credence realize they had a promise to Percival, it's too late. When Percival comes home he doesn't get angry, he's just resigned as he finally tells his lovers how he's been made to feel. He then tells them that he's decided to go overseas for a while to clear his head and help out some auror friends. Newt and Credence are devastated, but them determined. When Percival is about to leave, he is stunned to see Newt and Credence waiting to accompany him. Cue Newt and Credence slowly but surely earning Percival back.
