Newt as Cinderella, with only his creatures as his friends. Graves is the prince who holds a ball (against his will) to find a bride. Could follow the story of the original Cinderella, though I'm actually partial to the 2015 movie or Ever After. The other characters are up to you, but here are some suggestions:
Evil Stepmother - Grindelwald Step Sisters - Leta? Mary Lou maybe? Fairy God Mother - Dumbledore
Maybe Jacob is the baker who used to work for Newt's family but was dismissed by Grindelwald. And Tina is Graves' long suffering Captain of the Guard.
I'm pretty sure that "have courage and be kind" is Newt's life story and I just need some good old Cinderella!Newt and Prince!Graves who get to live happily ever after.
