I really like this and I love your implication of his sexual memories too. It doesn't even have to mean he's had a terrible time in bed, think of all those awkward first times. His only memory of having sex with someone could be him accidentally kneeing them or when he banged his head against the wall and almost gave himself a concussion during a blow job.
