a (modern) au where percival and newt are the new, cute gay couple who just moved into a home in a quiet suburban neighbourhood. everything is normal, the neighbours love them and their dogs, and everyone's just generally accepting of their relationship even if they are kind of weird (odd hours? sounds coming from their basement at three in the morning? suspicious lumps in the garbage?). It's not overly alarming, so nobody really does anything about it, and all is Good.
