Leta Lestrange and/or her family see Newt and try to put him down somehow and everyone from the MACUSA delegation thinks they are crazy. Newt is a published consultant, dangerous creature loving bamf in love with their own incredibly famous and dangerous Director and who are these people trying to throw shade. Graves spots this going down and comes to put the smackdown on anyone trying to mess with his Newt.
