Newt is finally pregnant after years of miscarriages. This time there are no celebrations from friends and family. Percival and Newt should've been joyful and ecstatic.
But it's horrific, terrifying and heartbreaking. Neither ever wanted it to happen this way. It should have never happened this way. The baby is Grindlewald's and Newt isn't sure he can survive this. Percival makes it his mission to ensure Newt does, because no matter what happens, Percival will stand by Newt's side.
N.B. I'm looking for a realistic look of babies conceived of rape and what happens next - the author can go in whatever direction they like. No sugar-coating please. Babies, especially those conceived in rape and violence don't suddenly make everything perfect and OK. I don't want this to be a solely pro-life/pro-choice vehicle where there is no debate/ discussion about Newt's choices (and ultimately it is NEwt's choice) and the idea that babies are all miracles. For some people they are not. Some rape survivors can deal with having the baby, some can't - that's what I'd like shown. I just want a sympathetic portrayal of the situation, choices and route Newt chooses.
