As a [friend/lover] of his brother's - and sort of a [lover/friend] of his - Percival Graves uses notebooks with protein charms to write back and forther across the ocean with his dear Scamanders. But the last message sent from Graves' book read simply "HELP GRIND" and was followed by a disturbing smudge.

Theseus is unable to launch an investigation/tried but "Percival Graves" officially went on record saying that a friend's child got their hands on the book and it's totally nothign to worry about. Theseus' hands are tied.

So it's up to Newt. Which is why Newt gets off a boat in NY with a case full of creatures who have all been briefed on one desperately important mission: Find out what happened to the REAL Percival Graves. And with that he opens his case.

Newt handled dragons during the war right? He calls himself 'Mum' to his creatures right??

I'd love to see a battle between MACUSA Aurors + Grindelwald (and his cronies), and Newt is there (because of course he is). Newt is actually holding his own pretty well, but still, maybe because Grindelwald has more numbers on his side, the situation seems to be going in Grindelwald's favor, but then Newt's precious (terrifying) scaly children show up to rescue their Beloved Mum, and Newt's handling them like the fucking pro he his, showing the skills he used to work with dragons during the war.

Bonus if all the other representatives from the other nations are there too (for whatever other hand-wavey reason), and everyone is completely in shock how war hero Theseus Scamander's unassuming little bro is kinda pretty BAMF.

Bonus x2 if you manage to burn Newt's shirt off, showing everyone his scars from working with his creatures (and how hot he looks covered in soot, what with the mussed up hair and sweat and, well, you get it.)

Bonus x3 if you can squeeze in a dragon + Newt cuddle pile.

What Newt didn't know (and thus Queenie didn't know) was that Leta Lestrange had known when she'd dug too deep into the dark side. Leta had known that there was no hope for her. Leta had known that those who loyally stayed close to her would be doomed like her.

Leta Lestrange broke her loyal badger's heart in the most publicly humiliating way possible, because otherwise he would have followed her to hell itself. And Leta Lestrange is not sorry for that.

Non-Magic AU: Newt and Credence are centuries old vampires who are actually decent and peaceful, stealing from blood banks or drinking animal blood. They love each other greatly but they've always felt like there was a piece missing. They decide to leave England and head for The Big Apple. It's by chance that they are at a cafe or some other unassuming place when in walks a handsome and sharply dressed man with dark hair. Newt and Credence catch his scent and they are hooked. He's the one they have both been yearning for. They are quite giddy when the man locks eyes with them and confidently comes over and introduces himself as Percival Graves, a New York City Detective or some high powered suit. They have a wonderful conversation that culminates in dinner plans. It's then that the vampires decide to carefully court their intended mate rather than just ravage and take. The three fall deeply in love, but Percival being the detective starts to notice some peculiar things about his lovers. When Credence and Newt finally reveal their truth to Percival, will he accept them or will he run?

Newt takes a deeply traumatized Percival and Credence under his wing and they begin to recover under his gentle care. The many magical creatures come to care for Credence and Percival as well. The Niffler loves Percival who keeps giving it shiny things, while the Swooping Evil is actually tender towards Credence and doesn't threaten him. The Erumpet wouldn't mind dancing with either of them and so forth. Newt couldn't be happier. One day he goes out to go and get something important, leaving Credence and Percival to care for the creatures, and when he comes back he nearly cries at the sight that greets him. Basically, all of Newts creatures friends have piled around Credence and Percival in one giant puppy pile, all of them content in sleep or simply lounging in the warms. Newt dives right in himself and maybe even asks his two lovers a very important question while he pulls a ring box out of his pocket.

GrindelGraves, unaware the thing would be stolen so quickly, decided that inside the suitcase was an excellent place to stash the comatose RealGraves.

Newt discovers this when he's already sailing out of NY harbour.

Percival is pretty freaked out and unsure if the kind, unassuming magizoologist promising that he's safe and no one is going to harm him is a trick or a genuine saviour. He's getting to the point where he thinks it's the latter, if only because Newt seems unaware that his animals are all giving him the universal "i'm watchign you" act when Newt's not looking.

The animals, after all, can recognise the look and smell of the man who hurt their human, but not that the one who did the hurting was an imposter. They aren't outright attacking though, since many of them also were scared and confused and attacked when their human first found them.

He illegally carries animals, in hidden compartments of his luggage, into foriegn countries. Think about it. His book claims it takes something like 100 wizards to subdue a nundu but he's got one in his case - do you really think he has a permit for that? I doubt there even is a permit for that.

Or: the one in which Newt is well and truly part of the magical criminal underground (was expelled, but has wand? *eyebrow raise*). He doesn't mind the animal smugglers so long as they are, ahem, convinced to treat their animals properly - after all, a smuggler harvesting the occasional feathers and eggs (for completely illegal potions)and otherwise giving the creatures a safe home is better than letting the law enforcement butcher them for existing. Amirite? As for the criminal underground? Yes he's annoying about his "proper livign conditions" but exotic beasts are effing expensive and they can't take them to a legal vetrinarian, can they?

Credence and Modesty couldn't be luckier to have two sets of adoptive parents to give them all the love they didn't get from Mary Lou. And now they're celebrating the holidays together (with Newt's creatures joining the holiday fun as well).

Watching and recording animals mating is a perfectly normal, not at all to do with sex, thing zoologists/naturalists/nature documentarians do. Not that that makes "I spent two weeks in a hide [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bird_hide] waiting for the fwoopers to get used to my presence enough to mate in view" sound any less dodgy.

OP prefers that there be no bad guys in this. Like, all the five exes had perfectly good reasons to bring out that ultimatum (allergies, legal issues, phobias, the pet was genuinely unmanageable, etc). Would also prefer is Leta Lestrange was the first one to do this.

Anyone (Percival?) realizing they can make sure Newt eats, sleeps, and takes care of himself by treating him like one of his beasts. So cooing, proper environment, and lots of soft things (maybe a nest?) Someone please take care of this walking hazard that is Newt!

Nothing can phase Jacob Kowalski. He's from Night Vale. Queenie's not sure what to make of this.

Newt isn't the most popular student, he's quite meek and shy, but good natured, and he has friends and he's looking forward to graduating, but then he notices Credence the freshman being picked on and looking so lonely. Newt (to the shock of everyone because they don't realize what a hero he is) stands up to the bullies and protects Credence. Then he takes Credence under his wing, introduces him to all his friends, the whole nine yards. Everyone loves Credence, and he feels so happy to well, be happy.

Eventually Newt and Credence become a couple. Credence is afraid at first because it'll only give his bullies more ammunition, but Newt makes him feel safe and confident.

Bonus if Graves is one of the bullies.

Credence is a beautiful if not shy omega, and he's of the age where he'll be getting many alpha suitors.

Graves, handsome, tall, successful, strong, in control alpha that he is, is the natural choice. He begins rather aggressively courting Credence, who is pretty resistant, or at least indifferent, but he isn't ruling Graves out or anything.

The only problem for Graves is that Newt, the bumbling beta who is somehow effortlessly charming in his awkward neurosis, has a major crush on Credence, and starts courting him too. He shouldn't be a threat except Credence is receptive to Newt's courtship (it's the animals let's be real).

Graves doesn't understand why Credence would prefer a beta over a literal perfect alpha? Cue Graves stepping up his game, rivalry tropes. Maybe he even challenges Newt to a duel?

After the events,Grindelwald escapes captivity and ends up running into a recovering Credence.They decide to go on the run together.Then they end up falling for each other.(Doesn't have to be in that order)

(Basically I'm imagining these two in a Bonnie/Clyde,Joker/Harley esque relationship)

I imagine that Percival Graves comes to know the Scamander brothers when he was still a new-in-the-rank Auror in MACUSA who was sent to UK as part of delegation. He met with the elder Scamander first then was introduced to the younger Scamander who was at that time not an auror but was still working in British MoM's Office for House-Elf Relocation (I read that in wikia).

I imagine Scamander brothers as a unit who shares everything. Theseus might be a more popular and more social wizard, viewed as the less strange one of the Scamander family while Newt viewed as the strange one because of his preoccupation on those magical beasts.

But anyway, I am okay with every imagination you can conjure up on them ;)

Something messed up and codependent (think Petrellicest or something). It started in their teen years.

They appear to be opposites - Theseus, the perfect popular Scamander, flaming red hair, Quidditch star & Newt, who's an antisocial outsider who loves his creatures. But they're strongly drawn to each other anyway; Theseus gets Newt in a way that nobody else can, even if he doesn't act that close during school life/when it's not just the two of them because of social peer pressure (which makes for conflict?).

Bonus: Newt treating sex with his brother almost like another one of his experiments.

so i'd love to hear about how wizards with magical creatures hide them from muggles, and how muggles with magical creature daemons react, but to be honest i'm mainly here for the bar scene where Newt gives pickett away. i want to see that in a daemon au with pickett as Newt's daemon. anything else would just be extra lovely.

Turns out the reason Newt is so twitchy and introverted is because he was raped and is still recovering from it.

Sooo Graves and Newt have sex for the first time and it's disastrous. Newt gets too nervous at the last minute, a lot of bad stuff happens and they're both feeling bummed about it.

A determined Newt decides they need to do this right, dammit! So he takes charge and tops from the bottom, bonus if Graves is really really turned thrilled by Newt's sudden shameless sluttiness

Daddy Graves gives Newt a lesson in illegally keeping highly dangerous magical beasts.

Newt is trying to negotiate for the safety of a creature being trafficked by a group of smugglers, and they're not having any of his offers. So he offers his body. They agree, and he spends the rest of the night getting abused and gang-raped by the whole group, not resisting or fighting back no matter what they force him to do, because that was the deal.

Anything goes, no matter how fucked up (especially if it's fucked up) as long as it's not bestiality.

I'd especially love to see
- Newt cries during the ordeal, and his captors mock him for it
- He winds up significantly injured, but his first concern is still for the rescued animal
- After everything is over, he's safe and the rescued creature has been looked after, he completely breaks down, curled up and sobbing in the safety of his case. The creatures protectively huddle around him and comfort him.
