Percival is slowly recovering from his ordeal at Grindalwald's hands, but a part of him feels incomplete and heartbroken without Credence, who he had met before being captured and genuinely cares for. Imagine his shock when one night, while he's sitting at home alone and brooding he gets a frantic knock on the door. It's Newt Scamander and in his arms is none other than Credence, pale and barely alive. Newt explains that the Obscurus is under control, but Credence was left with fangs and a thirst for blood. Percival knows he should call it in, but instead he helps Newt get Credence settled. It's then that Percival watches as Newt offers Credence his neck. It's the hottest thing he's ever seen, but it also makes something in him shatter seeing Credence so inmate with Newt. He's thrown for a whole other loop when Newt tells him that his blood isn't enough, that if Credence is to survive, he need more blood that Newt alone can give him. Scared but determined, Percival offers his neck to Credence. It's the most amazing thing he's ever felt, and he feels something in him that had been hurting for so long finally heal. But he feels something else too, a pull towards Newt that wasn't their before. Newt is surprised as he explains that it looks like Credence has not only claimed Newt as a mate, but Percival too. Cue the chaos.
