Grindelwald has (brutally) raped both Graves and Credence (to break Graves' will and to keep Credence compliant).
They meet each other after Grindelwald's defeat and learn about their shared trauma, trying to cope with what has happened to them together. Credence has some extra trouble because he can't stop seeing Grindewald!Graves in the original Graves.
I'd like it if the author takes both their personalities into account to estimate how they'd deal with something like rape.
Neither of them can stand being touched by someone else, but each other. Plus, it would be nice of their was some implied consensual (albeit maybe awkward and uncomfortable) sex.
