There are so many brilliant fics and prompts about Graves being rescued and recovering, and even about Graves in captivity but the rescue itself is usually just glossed over. What I really really want fic focusing on the search itself. I want to see Picquery ordering all of MACUSA to search for Graves until he is found alive or dead, them interrogating Grindelwald who spouts nonsense just to fuck with them. I want to see Aurors not leaving for home and searching every corner of New York and Tina asking Newt if he has some creature who could sniff him out. And maybe when Graves is found aurors fight about who will guard his hospital room until he recovers.
