Seeing as we've reached 4,000 comments in Round 1, it's time to make a new one. Same (lack of) rules apply. Gentle reminder to everyone to refrain from posting extremely long prompts, though. While no word limit will be imposed, take note that it is very unlikely for someone to fulfill your prompt if your prompt alone is already several paragraphs long and containing a number of specifications.

Count of Monte Cristo...Gramander style!

Newt is a sweet, shy and slightly odd heir who is happily engaged to his beloved, Percival Graves, a stoic and noble solider, the model of discipline and devotion to king, country and his love. While Newt could have had his pick of suitors he has only ever had eyes for Percival, and on announcing their engagement, life could not get better.

Until Gellert Grindlewald appears, an old army friend of Percival's. Wealthy, charming, eccentric and the life of the party, Percival and Gellert could not be more different but Graves seems to trust him. Gellert only intends to pay a passing visit, until he meets Newt, and he *wants* him, more than he’s wanted any man before, it’s of no matter of what Newt wants or that he’s in love and promised to another. A secret, long held resentment towards the ever noble Graves has festered in Gellert, and with money, charm and charisma, Percival is tiring, and crucially in his way of gaining Newt. For a man of Gellert’s power, it’s nothing, and doesn’t think twice when he frames Graves, stripes him of his fortune, his fiance and his hope.

But Grindlewald overconfidence has always been his undoing. He has taken everything from Graves, and that would be enough to break most men, but Graves is not that man. He is no longer the man Grindlewald betrayed, there is a new dark fire in his beaten body. For, the day his was imprisoned he swore two oaths – vengeance and returning for Newt, and Graves is a man who honours his debts. Even in this darkest prison, he hears whispers, Grindlewald has earned many enemies, some powerful ones who seem rather eager to enable Graves's quest for vengence.

As the years pass, Gellert forgets about his betrayed, broken and imprisoned friend, enjoying his broken little husband and ill gotten fortune to the hilt.

But he should be wary of the broken man, because once a man has nothing left to loose, he’s at his most dangerous.

Magic can be included if wished

Newt has always been close to his family, the Scamanders take pride in being a close knit family. They have always encourged NEwt to find his own path, supported and fought for him after his Hogwarts expullsion, encouraged him in his career and love of beasts, comforted him when boyfriends broke up with them, and yes Theseus is as over protective as has been rumoured.

So when Newt finally finds a man he loves and loves him back, eccentricies and all, there should be no problems. Percival Graves may be a be stiff, and yes he's older than Newt, and yes he's American but he loves Newt and really that's all that should matter.

But when Newt introduces Percival officially to his family the Scamanders, it doesn't go well right from the outset. His parents are cold and almost rude to Percival, but Theseus *hates* Percival, and none of them bother to hide their dislike of Percival personally, and especially his relationship with Newt, worse still they make it clear they will not accept them together, Newt must choose, his beloved family or the man he loves.

What is the reason behind their hostility to Percival and how can Newt ever make such an awful choice?

N.B. it's NOT homophobia - in this world gay relationships have always been normal in the wizarding world.

After Eddie Redmayne said Graves magic skill was like 50 Shades I had to...

Newt was never meant to interview Percival Graves, the fiercely private billionaire CEO of Graves Industries, but somehow it still happened. While most press would kill to talk to him and fawning, Newt is refreshingly honest, if a little clumsy and shy and Percival, famed for his iron control is torn between amusement and exasperation. This isn't how his one-off interview should've been (he's seriously regretting letting his PA Queenie talk his into this) and he's not used to this. Percival is rich, powerful and the master of his extensive realm, he’s also a man who does his homework, Mr Scamander is exclusively attracted to men and is a virgin to boot. He is completely different to the men Percival normally seeks, and Percival has very… exclusive tastes when it comes to his bed-mates. Normally he’s hoping for a quick seduction and quicker goodbye and Newt should follow that pattern, Newt isn't playing by his rules.

He's clearly attracted to Percival, after all, who isn't, so it should've been easy to coax Newt into his bed virgin or not, he could only imagine how gorgeous the boy look on his bed, but it isn’t enough for Newt. For the first time, here is a man who isn’t interested in Percival’s money, looks or the Graves name and lifestyle it promises. Newt for all his clumsy shyness isn’t willing to fall into Percival's arms or play his games and won't be coaxed or wooed into anywhere thank you! So Percival does what he does best…he chases, and aims to win. What starts as an amusing game of seduction on Percival's part slowly changes when he realises it's no game Newt is playing. Newt may be inexperienced, but he has a strength to him, an integrity that Percival admires.

But Percival isn't an easy man to love, or understand. He can chase for the thrill, for seduction with the best of them, but trying to win love…that's new. Will Percival be able to find a new way to live and love, or will Newt be his only failure, because not only does Newt have a mind and will of his own but he has friends and family, who though small, may prove an even greater trial than Newt.

please, i am begging, just give us some newt who discovers the joys of eating only after having tasted jacobs pastries, or give as a newt who is cursed and now has the biggest appetite he ever has had.

or idk his friends noticing he is too frail and too thin and trying to fatten him up and inevitably leading to him stuffing himself silly and piling on the pounds.

any scenario, anything, please just give us newt stuffing himself and gaining weight and maybe getting off on the feeling of being full to the brim.

Alpha’s are considered the muscle and protector in the relationship while the omega is docile and the nurturing, however, thats until omega become pregnant. Any bonded alpha will tell you…. NEVER anger a pregnant omega.

Poor Newt is dealing with constant morning sickness, sleepless nights, aches and pains. On top of that, he can no longer fit into his suitcase. Oh yeah, Newt is frustrated and very grumpy.

So when Grindelwald tries to take his revenge only to be captured a second time, the dark lord feels the full force of the hormonal Newt. Newt slaps the living day lights out the dark lord and begins to verbally assault him.

The dark lord can’t stop himself from wincing, his inner alpha shrinks away in shame for angering the very pregnant omega, damn biology. Even is followers are looking at him accusingly.

Percival and Theseus are watching from a distance not wanting to deny Newt his chance to finally express his frustrations. Also because they are kind of afraid of him.

First time posting anything like this, but here we go.
Am I the only one who thinks Queenie would find it really hot NOT to know what her partner is thinking all the time? Just because of the novelty and the element of surprise.
So (hooray for a magical setting that lets us do whatever we want) can anyone write me a story where she takes a potion that dulls or negates her Legilimency before having sex with Jacob, just to know how that feels?
Bonus points if the thing is illegal and you show what kind of trouble she had to get into to get it, and/or it has the potential of weird side effects.

Theseus was supposed to marry Lets Lestrange. News was supposed to marry Percival Graves. However, the contracts got mixed up and Theseus married Percival (keeping a continent bewegen them), Leta was upset auf Newt got expelled... the worst year Newt ever had - before or after. And somehow everyone blamed him.

(whether the last part is true or just Newt is up to the author)

I'd like to see a fic where grindlewald tries to create an obscurus instead of controlling an existing one. He does this by raising credence and horribly, terribly abusing him with magic, to the point that he fears it viscerally.

After the events in the film, Credence eventually rematerialize. He is a bit in a sorry state and having no friends, he is homeless.

He meets Real Graves, who had a very rough time, and is homeless as well for reasons.

Being two decent men, the help each other against all odds, hit it off, become essential for the other and manage to make it out of the streets together.

They fall in love in the process.

Just like in the fairy tale, either Newt or Credence, down on his luck and in the midst of a rain storm, hapens to knock at Graves door. Without much enthousiasm, he lets the younger man stay for the night.
But an event or a sign (like the pea in the tale, keeping the host from sleeping, but it could be anything else) will reveal they belong together.

I'd love to see a fic about a sadistic, manipulative Grindelwald and his pattern of targeting vulnerable people.

Maybe he'd already developed a taste for it while he was a student at Durmstrang, but his first great 'success' was with Dumbledore - when they were just young men and he realised the power he could hold over his new friend at Godric's Hollow, who was under such immense family pressure, still grieving his parents, and deeply closeted.

Then, it was all too easy for him to begin amassing a following in the wizarding community, preying on people's hurt and fear and twisting it into hatred.

Percival Graves was a challenge, very headstrong and impossible to shift in his beliefs. But Grindelwald took another route: disguising himself, placing himself in Graves' orbit, and ruthlessly taking advantage of Graves' secret loneliness and isolation. Graves never saw it coming when his new lover betrayed him.

And we all saw what happened with Credence.

Even Tina caught Grindelwald’s interest. Stubborn and noble, but insecure over her recent demotion. Picquery’s harsh reprimands created the perfect opportunity for Grindelwald to get closer, and Tina’s obvious existing admiration for Graves was just icing on the cake. Too bad he never had the chance to take things further.

…Anyway. Just lots of creepiness and predatory behaviour from Grindelwald, please.

Graves was relieved when Grindelwald kidnapped him because Picquery had secretly been using her position as president to force Graves to be her concubine. When Grindelwald found out, he was shocked and didn't hurt Graves beyond what was necessary. After the film, Graves is rescued, but Grindelwald instead begins to impersonate Picquery. Graves knows but says nothing because, as much as Grindelwald's views horrify him, it's nice to have a sort of friendish to tell him the rape wasn't his fault.

Please no Graves/Grindelwald.

I think I've seen just about every other pairing but this one. So I would like to see original!Graves/Jacob.

Percival is a very traditional man when it comes to relationships and sex: It happens in bed and there are only a few positions.

Newt wants to try things out: locations, positions, etc.

Can Newt convince Percival to step outside of his comfort zone?

Percival is good at politics, leading and otherwise interacting with people in a professional fashion. However, when it comes to interaction on a more private/personal level, he's awkward. To be frank, it's just too much of a hassle. He also isn't a fan of people in his personal space/touching him.

Too bad his family doesn't care and presents him with a betrothal/marriage contract.

(aka aromantic/asexual Percival in a time when those weren't actually recognised/known)

Au society in which it's not only okay to be promiscuous, but it's also expected.

You find a couple having sex in the office? It's normal to stick around to Watch. You might even be invited to join.

There's also no such thing as cheating.

I've seen a lot of rape recovery fics, but they always turn into sexual or romantic fics. I find this unrealistic.

I'd like a fic where Graves is captured by a trafficking ring that sells wizards as sex slaves. Grindelwald, disliking the idea of wizards being treated this way, goes to destroy the ring and set the slaves free. While there, he finds Graves. The other slaves are released to a hospital, but Grindelwald keeps Graves because he's valuable.
Graves is terrified, convinced Grindelwald is going to use him as a sex slave and torture him. Grindelwald surprises him by actually being kind to him and taking care of his wounds.

Maybe Grindelwald has an alternative motive; after all, getting Graves on his side would help his political movement. However, he genuinely finds what was done to Graves abhorrent, and feels bad for the man.

Newton is close to canon personality-wise, caring for his creatures above all else. Has a much better analytical understanding of humans, though, and can manipulate them when necessary, purposefully coming off as harmless day to day. Has little qualms against hurting/killing humans if he deems it necessary in the grander scheme of things, but doesn’t take pleasure from pointless murder. Might be aiming for immortality due to not believing he has enough time in his life to truly save creatures en masse and improve their status in society in the way he desires.

Newt could have been different from canon from early on, becoming a fledgling dark lord in his Hogwarts years and secretly building his connections through his years at hogwarts (who ever suspects a Hufflepuff? Though alternate house sorting could be interesting as well), or have an event that changed him and set him on his new path.

Preference for focus on plot/character development over romance, with slow burn/pre-slash.

+1 for Newt surprising people with his duelling skills and/or power
+5 for gradual reveals of Newts hidden facets affecting seemingly-unflappable/relaxed characters like Graves and Theseus.
+10 if Newt has plans regarding Grindelwald

What if Percival Graves didn't exist before Grindelwald took on the persona? Or, rather, what if a magical Percival Graves didn't exist...?

Percival Graves applied for the job of Director of Magical Security when an unexpected, horrific, and untraceable accident befell the previous Director. He was more proficient in wandless magic than the MACUSA Employment Board had seen in . . . ever, and so they hired him on the spot.

After Grindelwald is revealed and captured, Newt finds some little trinket he dropped. Upon picking it up, Newt is portkeyed away to Grindelwald's hideaway, where he discovers a traumatised and just-this-side-of-insanity-by-a-whisker Muggle, who says his name is Percival Graves . . .

As MACUSA is more interested in interrogating Grindelwald than in some Muggle, Newt determines that, having seen the worst magic has to offer, he will show Percival the best...

In which Grindelwald and Dumbledire both have young lovers and debate over who's better in the sack. Perhaps they give the other a demonstration?

Due to the fighting Grindelwald has stirred the magical population goes in to abbot of a decline (I know, ironic). Because of this it is decreed that all Omegas must be mated off to ensure the magical race's survival.

Graves (an Alpha) agrees to take in both Theseus (because they're best-friends) and Newt (because he saved him) as he knows neither man wants to me mated off to some strange Alpha.

Under normal circumstances they could all simply co-habitate as friends, right?

Too bad the government took anti-heat spells and the ingredients for them off the counter...
