ROUND 2

Seeing as we've reached 4,000 comments in Round 1, it's time to make a new one. Same (lack of) rules apply. Gentle reminder to everyone to refrain from posting extremely long prompts, though. While no word limit will be imposed, take note that it is very unlikely for someone to fulfill your prompt if your prompt alone is already several paragraphs long and containing a number of specifications.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
-(01/14/2016) We now have a TRADING POST where you can exchange fills with people.
-The prompt freeze is over! You may resume posting prompts. The next freeze is scheduled on February 8, 12:00 AM (PST) or if this round reaches 4,000 comments; whichever comes first.
-Due to popular demand, we now have our first couple of rules!
RULE #1: No prompt must exceed 250 words. Any prompt that exceeds that WILL be screened.
RULE #2: Please state RPF in the subject line if your prompt involves real people.
RULE #3: No kinkshaming.

So for reasons some ministry officials or aurors have to come to America. Maybe to bring back Grindelwald, maybe for PR, who knows. But anyway, none of them are very fond of Newt. He always was rather odd, sticking his nose into ministry affairs where he didn't belong. So when they come to America, they try to belittle Newt, especially in front of important members of MACUSA. The director of magical security for instance. He can commiserate about Newt with them, right? They think they can get away with it, now that Theseus isn't there to stand up for Newt.

Of course Graves picks up on this and can't let it continue. But he does it subtly, letting Newt stand up for himself if he wants. (Though Newt is pretty resigned to his fate.) But if those British wizards are passive aggressively mocking Newt, you better know Graves is gonna passive aggressively make their life miserable. If they have Newt cornered in an empty hallway and Graves finds out? Oh he'll take care of it - no screaming and yelling. No, he'll just come to stand beside Newt, maybe a little too close and smile in that nice calm way which means he's about to fuck you up if you don't run. Now.

Newt is stunned that someone besides Thesues would stand up for him. (Of course Tina, Queenie and the gang will too, if they get the chance) He and Percival grow closer through this and eventually get together.
