  ROUND 2

Seeing as we've reached 4,000 comments in Round 1, it's time to make a new one. Same (lack of) rules apply. Gentle reminder to everyone to refrain from posting extremely long prompts, though. While no word limit will be imposed, take note that it is very unlikely for someone to fulfill your prompt if your prompt alone is already several paragraphs long and containing a number of specifications.

-The prompt freeze is over! You may resume posting prompts. The next freeze is scheduled on February 8, 12:00 AM (PST) or if this round reaches 4,000 comments; whichever comes first.
-Due to popular demand, we now have our first couple of rules!
RULE #1: No prompt must exceed 250 words. Any prompt that exceeds that WILL be screened.

The only time Newt's mother spanked him was when he tracked swamp muck all through the house when she had guests over.

"There were strangers here, Newt," she screeched as she brought her hand down hard. "Strangers! Our neighbors already think we live in a barn because I breed hippogriffs, I don't need prospective investors thinking this is a pig sty!"

"But Mummy!" Newt wailed between smacks. "I wanted to show you a new creature I found!"

"Unless creatures are hurt or hungry, humans come first! And cleanliness is important for beasts too, Newt what if you got my hippogriffs sick?"

Once Newt's mother had calmed down, she felt guilty spanking him in anger and never did again. Instead she taught him cleaning spells and other things he might need to know, and refused to let him near her own creatures for a whole day if he had been bad. Newt had to admit that was a much more effective punishment.

A similar event happened with Theseus during the first Christmas break after the elder boy started Hogwarts.

"Your unruly beast destroyed my homework!" Theseus screamed. "It's due the day we return from class, which is tomorrow! There's no way I can redo it in time! Do you know how stupid I'll look if I tell my teacher my brother's beast ate my homework? That's the oldest excuse ever! He won't believe me!"

Newt insisted it was an accident throughout the entire spanking, but that didn't appease his brother at all. Later when the teacher did believe Theseus since he was familiar with the Scamander family the boy felt terrible that he had punished Newt for no reason and sent him a chocolate frog placed in a candy terrarium as an apology. Newt never could bring himself to eat the beautiful gift, and still kept in on his desk under preservation charms as an adult. Theseus never spanked him again.

The first time with Leta was shortly after they had discussed the idea of 'spicing up' their relationship.

"You removed the plug, Newt," Leta purred. "You'll have to be punished.

"Leta, I couldn't possibly leave it in when I was running about the forest," Newt explained.

"You could have just asked me to remove it," Leta laughed. "I would have you know. But since you need to be punished, I think all spank you with it in."

Newt flushed at the imagery, and that's exactly what Leta did. Although she claimed it was punishment, it was the most enjoyable kind Newt had ever experienced.

The last time with Leta was right after his expulsion.

"You idiot," she wailed. Newt wondered why she was the one crying when he was the one with his bottom being beaten. "Why did you take the blame?" she asked. "Now you have to leave and we can't be together anymore!"

"But Leta," Newt huffed. "They would have expelled you just the same! How is this any worse? We can still owl and meet for holidays."

"If I had been expelled," Leta hissed. "I could have gotten tutors. It's still prestigious enough for a family like mine, and they couldn't fuss about the 'troubled child' being involved with someone 'lesser.' But now there's no way they'll let me be with a 'trouble-maker farm-boy' that got expelled!"

"So run away with me!" Newt pleaded. "Who cares what people think?"

Her hands fell on Newt's rump with one last smack and then stilled. "I can't, Newt," she sobbed. "I can't do this anymore."

Newt froze. "What do you mean?" he whispered. He tried to turn around to look at her, but she kept him still with a firm hand on his burning bottom.

"I can't be with someone who doesn't care about our relationship," Leta cried. "I need someone who cares."

"I care! I care!" Newt yelled, frantically trying to turn around. "That's the entire reason I told them it was me! I was trying to protect you!"

"You were trying to protect me," Leta agreed. "But you don't care about protecting us. We're through, Newt."

Nothing Newt said changed her mind, and though he still loved her he couldn't help but feel bitter about her accusing him like that when all he had done was try to help.

Newt's father was much more aggressive than his mother, and so it was actually quite common for him to spank Newt. But the one that stood out to him the most was the one when he came home from Hogwarts for good.

"Fool boy! Ruining your education like that! Should'a known you were no better than those beasts you love so much! Ought to whip you like 'em too!"

His father noticed Newt's flinch when the belt hit, still sore after his last night with Leta, and a wicked glee crossed his features.

"Tender, ey? So they whipped you already hmm? Well seems they did something right with you. But I'm still not done with you boy. What you did reflects on this family, and we have to live with it while those teachers don't! You won't be able to sit for a week when I'm done with you!"

True to his word, Newt's father gave him a very thorough beating that night. That combined with the break up with Leta soured the spanking experience for Newt for many years. Luckily, he met many people in his travels who were very willing to help him rediscover the good parts of the act.

The first time Newt spanked Percival Graves was entirely spontaneous.

"I told you not to approach alone!" Newt scolded. He vigorously emphasized his words with the hand smacking Percival's upturned bottom. "You could have been seriously injured!"

Percival squirmed in Newt's lap in shock. He had been taken completely by surprise when the bumbling wizard picked him up like a caveman. "But, Newt," he finally choked out. "You're always saying your creatures aren't dangerous!"

"Not dangerous when handled in specific manners!" Newt clarified with a particularly hard smack. "I would have thought an experienced Auror would know better."

Newt paused when Percival's constant squirming brought something to his attention. "Oh!" he gasped in delight. "Are you enjoying this, Director?"

Percival flushed. "This is the first time someone hasn't treated me like I'm made of glass since the Grindelwald fiasco," he admitted.

"Well," Newt purred while caressing firm globes. "How about we take this somewhere more comfortable? I'm willing to give you a firm hand anytime you need."

So that's what they did, and true to Newt's word he was always up for spanking Percival whenever the coddling became to much. And sometimes when Newt got a craving, Percival returned the favor.
