Newt finishes his book and comes back to the US for a lecture tour. But, he's been getting some death threats from Grindelwald's supporters ... Graves is in charge of his bodyguard duty.

the REASON is that one time he and Colin were so desperate to get in each other's pants that they didn't even manage to make it properly out of costume and thus said union suit got thoroughly ruined, and Ezra stole it because he didn't want anyone from the production team to have to wash it

When Jacob brings a kitten home he doesn't think it'll be a problem. After all, Newt is great with animals!

Newt *is* amazing with animals. *Magical* animals. However, mundane pets are somehow beyond him. And the worst part? Kitty *adores* Jacob. It's only Newt it has a problem with. This cat proceeds to make Newt's life a living hell.

Bonuses:
*Newt is convinced the cat has some Kneazle ancestry. It doesn't. It's a perfectly normal cat.
*It's fine around Queenie and Tina. It just hates Newt.
*Potential ending?: There's a perfectly normal explanation as to why the cat dislikes Newt--it smells on the magical creatures on him and it freaks the poor dear out. Jacob smells like food all the time, so it loves him more. Jacob is the one who figures this out.

Imagine social worker/policeman Graves rescuing young/toddler Credence from an abusive home and ended up adopting him instead. (Or alternatively, he's still a high ranking government official like canon, but still adopted Credence anyway).

The life of a single dad isn't easy especially with a child recovering from trauma, but he manages.

Newt owns a petting zoo in the area and he's usually around whenever he's not out traipsing in conservation measures somewhere in the world. Graves still couldn't wrap it around his head that Newt is the world's most famous zoologist (with his own TV show and all that) when he sees him at the zoo.

But the thing is when Graves took Credence to the petting zoo, that was the first time he saw Credence smile after he rescued him. So he made it a habit of visiting the petting zoo at least once a week. After he got to know Newt (and kinda crushing hard although he'll never admit it) he let Credence help around the zoo after school until Graves can pick him up after work.

Bonus if Newt's petting zoo is filled not with the typical petting zoo pets. They also have snakes and lizards and spiders which scared away some kids, but Credence likes just as much if not more.

Would love some mutual pining and some adorable awkwardness plus family moments please :)

I was thinking about Credence's bowl cut and because it's almost Vulcan-esque I suddenly thought 'what about an AU with Vulcan!Credence and Human!Graves'. I didn't get much further than that. I prefer happy endings but honestly I just want to see something with Vulcan Credence and Human Graves together (whether they're in Starfleet or not doesn't even matter TBH).

(For background, I've only seen TOS and a bit of TNG but whatever. Go wild!)

In lots of fics, Picquery gives Graves his job back. But what if she didn't? What if she insisted that he was too compromised, that everyone else was too uncomfortable with it, and that he couldn't resume the only life he'd ever known, all on top of the trauma of being kept captive and isolated for so long? (Prefer no physical or sexual abuse by Grindelwald, but perhaps worse in that he was in some kind of isolated stasis, not able to tell time or place, which is just as traumatizing in its own right.)

Basically, I want to see Graves deciding in what seems like a very calm manner to end his life, because he's been keeping all his thoughts and trauma so compartmentalized that he isn't really allowing himself to feel it, and he doesn't want to, either. And somehow- maybe through reading between the lines of Tina's account of things, or hearing that Graves has gone missing- Newt figures it out and manages to find him and talk him down. We all saw how well he did trying to connect with Credence and talk him down, so we know he's capable, despite the awkwardness.

Where it goes from there is up to you, though I prefer a hopeful ending. Maybe Newt helps him find new meaning to his life and helps him handle the trauma when the dam does break. Also your decision how he decides to commit suicide and how far he gets before Newt stops him.

Jacob isn't the gruff ultra manly Alpha type. Men like Graves fit that bill.
Jacob always thought he might really be a little deffective as an alpha, until he met Newt and the girls.

Now he remembers that first of all an alpha should provide for and support the family. Be that food, or emotional support.

He meets his omega mate or meets the mates intended for him. He bakes and cleans and tends he home. He provides down to earth stability to his Maj maye (s) and has never been gladder.

Open to any pairing including other alphas. As long as I get Jacob doting on the family and being the happy housespouse and home maker as well as successful baker.

Someone thinks that just because X and Y are in an arranged marriage that it is loveless and it will be easy to seduce X. They are wrong.

Honestly I would take any pairing at all for this as long as it's not incest or underage.

Newt goes undercover and uses a potion to temporarily change himself into a woman.
He crosses paths with Graves (accidentally or they are already working together- your choice), and can hardly hide his arousal, even though he obviously never had sex as a girl before.
Graves, being a gentlemen, is obliged to help.

Bonus points if Newt thinks Graves doesn't know it's him and uses this opportunity (because he has been harboring deep attraction to Graves for a long time). Graves, of course, is not an idiot and knows exactly whom he is fucking.

Double bonus points if Graves calls Newt out later ("How did you know?" "Well, for once, that giant hickey on the back of your neck is a dead giveaway - female or not, I remember where i marked you" ), and shows him that gender is not that important.

What if Tina had been suspecting something was wrong with Graves the whole time, because they had previously always been engaging in flirtatious banter? Maybe even to the extent the rest of the office had a will they/won't they pool of bets on if they'd ever get together. Of course when Grindelwald takes over, he resoundingly shuts Tina down, and this is essentially the only Graves trait to change so everyone else just figures he moved on. Then the events of the movie happen, Tina rescues Graves like a badass, and happy ending!

Percival is back to work and is as hard-nosed and stoic as ever despite the tortures he suffered and Grindelwald's hands. Newt is back, and he has a recovering Credence with him. The three meet, and after Percival and Credence mend fences, the three form a warm friendship. One day, Newt and Credence are visiting the Magical Congress and meet up with Tina and Queenie. They are informed that Percival is overseeing the training of new auror recruits. When they get to the large room of requirements, they see all of the recruits lined up. Newt and Credence are a bit stunned to see this one recruit, a young man or woman with a baby in his arms. Everyone is kind of looking at this single parent funny but once Percival arrives, everyone stands to attention and all eyes are on him.

Percival is strong and intimidating as he begins his speech on what it means to be an auror with MACUSA. It's at that moment that the baby starts to fuss and cry. In the room the tiny wails echo off the walls. The new recruit looks mortified as they try to quiet their baby. Percival stops speaking and pins everyone with a look. Then Newt, Credence, Tina, Queenie, and everyone else in attendance watch with bated breath as Percival stalks over to the recruit with a hard look on his face. Everyone thinks he's going to rip the recruit a new one, so it leaves everyone slack-jawed when instead, Percival quietly asks the recruit to hand the baby to him. The moment the baby is in Percival's arms, they stop crying and settles. Without batting an eye, Percival heads back to the front of the room, with the baby in tow and proceeds to give one hell of an inspiring speech culminating with him saying that he himself fights for everyone in the community, from the baby in his arms to the president herself, and it is why Grindelwald could not truly break him. It's the cutest, most inspiring thing anyone has seen.

Newt and Credence watch as several people gaze at Percival with newfound appreciation and interest. They themselves feel something in their hearts shift for their friend when they see him holding the baby, being so tender, yet strong at the same time. In that moment, Newt and Credence fall irrevocably in love with Percival. Cue Newt and Credence planning courtship, Tina and Queenie joining in as advisors, and Percival finding himself on the receiving end of a great deal of admiring along with trying to figure out why Newt and Credence, the two men he himself is already in love with are acting so strange. Plus you have the fantastic beasts joining in too.

After Graves begins monologuing about wizards and witches not having to hide to Credence, Newt finds himself agreeing with the man and hesitantly decides to go with him, wanting to know more. He has trouble reconciling that with his subsequent realisation of who Graves really is.

+1 if Grindelwald is stuck with Graves' face, making Newt even more uncomfortable about his true identity, and

+100 if Newt chooses Grindelwald's ideology in the end, for whatever reason.

A lot of people have talked about Grindelwald having some connection with Jack Sparrow. What about the original Graves being a (not so) friendly neighbourhood vampire who's very pissed off about his identity being stolen?

Thanks to the power of the obscurus, Credence survives the end of the movie. The problem? That thing's gotta eat. Specifically, it's gotta eat people, or their life energy, or blood, or whatever. Credence was able to keep it mostly under control before almost dying and coming back a little less human than before, but that's becoming less and less of an option.

+ If there's a pairing, Credence/Newt preferred.
++ Newt starts hearing of mysterious deaths, figures out what's going on, and returns to New York to set things right.
+++ Credence still has enough of a conscience to try his best not to hurt anyone innocent, but God help you if you threaten one of the orphans or Newt

The three of them are in a relationship and they couldn't be happier. On one of his rescue missions Newt and Credence discover this creature that is gorgeous but also deadly in that it feeds on blood and can turn other animals vampiric with a bite or scratch . The creature is scared and lashes and both Newt and Credence are scratched or bitten. they manage to rescue creature and release it somewhere far away before they return home to Percival. Everthing seems ok until late in next the night Percival wakes up to find Newt and Credence out of bed and acting strangely. To his alarm he sees that both of them have glowing red eyes and wicked looking fangs where their canines should be, exactly like creature. Thinking fast, Percival locks down the house and tries to restrain his loves. They are too strong though and both Newt and Credence set upon Percival biting him and ravishing him thoroughly. Thankfully they do t drain him, but they thoroughly claim him as theirs. Come morning the effects wear off and Credence and Newt are left horrified by what they've done to Percival. In fact Percival thoroughly enjoyed himself once the initial fear wore off. Despite his reassurances, Newt and Credence contemplate giving up on helping magical creatures. Finally Percival has enough of the guilt and one night, gives them a stern talk to let them know he was willing, and then takes them to bed to claim them in turn, because they are his just as much as he is theirs.

All I could think of is Gramander.

Like Percival visits Theseus and him and Newt fall in love and before Percival leaves they have the above exchange and make sweet love all night.

Then the movie happens and because I'm sadistic, Grellet does sleep with Newt using Percival body, probably rough and in a way that makes newt feel dirtybadwrong. That Grellet goes and taunts Percival not knowing that Newts a BAMF when he needs to be and doing what he did to Graves cause we all know Newt has no self-preservation and is more worried about how this whole thing affects Percival than how it affects him.

What it says on the tin.

Professor Newt Scamander is asked by Headmaster Dumbledore to take two students under his wing. Newt doesn't know if he can help them, how can he help to socially awkward young men if he's equally awkward himself?

Their first meeting however goes surprisingly well, actually too well, and Newt learns a lot about his two new charges. About Credence’s abuse by his mother and Percival’s fear of not meeting his families too high expectations. Newt's heart breaks for them and soon they find themselves meeting from every month, to almost everyday.

Soon, Credence and Percival's behavior change for their 'Care of Magical Creatures' Professor. Newt doesn’t notice at firs,t but even he starts to realize that his student's feelings go further than a normal teacher/student relationship.

Newt quickly tries to pull away before they do something they all regret, he’s trying to do what he thinks is best and hopes they will understand one day. Except he can’t understand why his heart feels like its being torn apart at the thought of leaving them behind.

But of course, Credence and Percy are not going to stand for it. Let the romantic courtship and seducing begin!!!!

Whatever the case, give me Bucky (and skinny pre-serum Steve) getting hair ruffles and treats ot talked to about fighting.

Bucky just strikes me as the same guy at core. Mostly unruffled by all the crazy shit in his life.

Loosing both parents to dragonpox as children was hard. As adults, every time they have a loved one get sick, they mother hen them fiercely and fret over them endlessly.

I bet Newt or Graves would bat them away or try to soldier through, while Creedence and Jacob would probably soak it up if feel a bit bad.

Newt is completely prepared to handle any magical creature you throw at him. Dragons? Done it. Occamy? No problem. Giant poison cat? Good to go.

For all the magical creature experience in the world, he was completely unprepared for the common, American opossum.

Actually, the animal doesn't matter, but I want to see this creature-confident boy way out of his element with normal beasts. :D

So, in an interview, Eddie said that Colin's wand technique in the final battle was like 'Fifty Shades of Gray meets the wizarding world'. And I think we all agree that his wand technique was pretty intense. And awesome.

Do what you will with that information/lead in. Whatever you want, just no Grindel!Graves. I'm incredibly amused by Eddie's choice of phrasing on how Colin got 'wand elbow'.
