Credence is incredibly touch starved, he's almost never been touched before in a way that wasn't painful, let alone by someone he found as attractive as Newt. Other Aurors shocked and amused to see Graves' behavior around Newt Scamander. Newt is flustered but happy.

Grindlegraves, upon learning that Theseus Scamander's little brother was visiting New York, decided to capture him and hold him in reserve - it was always good to have potential leverage against a war hero. He stashes Newt in the same place he kept Original!Graves.

...this was also a BIG MISTAKE. Because while Newt and Original!Graves might fight for survival, it is another thing entirely to fight for someone else. For someone you love.

Newt and Original!Graves fall in love while kept imprisoned by Grindle!Graves, break out, and fight as a seamless team against the Dark Lord in question.

For some reason Newt and Graves are staying at the same place post-movie (maybe Graves' apartment is still under investigation so Tina offered to house him). Because of the lingering pain and nightmares, Graves doesn't sleep well and is exhausted. So one day he just falls asleep fully sprawled across Newt. He even drools on his shirt. Tina and Queenie think it's cute.

Doesn't matter how or why! Just please give us Newt sitting in his man's lap. <3

Bonus for Graves having impure thoughts once Newt's plush bottom is pressed suggestively against him, as Newt tries to get comfortable— or not suggestively at all, with Newt's mere proximity having an effect on him!

Could be AU. Everyone can see they're in love with each other. But they don't make a move, and the UST is up to epic proportions. Real!Graves tried to make a move, but it was too ambiguous. Newt tried to take the next step but was overcome by his shyness and low self-esteem.

Newt calls Graves Percy in private and especially when they're being intimate together. Graves has never allowed anyone else in his life to call him that. Theseus is famous as a war hero by both his countrymen and magical governments abroad, sure, but Newt is also internationally (in)famous.

Well, Newt isn't really known to the politicians in foreign governments, but to the foreign auror forces/magical law departments, he's known as a badass motherfucker wrapped in a layer of deceptive politeness and shyness (the awkwardness is kinda real).

And Newt doesn't even really know how he got this reputation, he just really wants to help the magical creatures (Merlin help you if you get in the way he'll rain down hell's fury on you) that get trafficked by poachers. Sometimes they just happen to be the same criminals that aurors, both within England and abroad, have on their top wanted list for crimes even more heinous than poaching.

Whereas aurors have trouble tracking down these criminals, Newt is able to locate them using his knowledge on the creatures being trafficked, and being the excellent duelist he is (lots of practice from saving creatures from humans), he's able to subdue the criminals (most of have are known to be violent and can easily take down a team of aurors) by himself.

And Newt doesn't want a reward for catching these criminals, really, he just wants to save the creatures, but it just that - Newt has the stipend given to him to write the book, but with all the magical creatures he's picked up, he's kinda strapped for money to buy the supplies needed to take care of them, so he usually drops by the local auror department to pick up the reward on this week's criminal.

Rowling released that Grindelwald is a seer. I'd like a fic where he saw himself as only being happy with one person: Percival. After meeting Dumbledore, Grindelwald assumed his vision meant him (Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore). Only, when he meets Graves, Grindelwald begins to think that, hey, maybe the prophecy meant the auror. The problem is, is that Graves wants nothing to do with the man who's holding him captive. What's a seer to do?

The reason Newt doesn't really like meet anyone's eyes is because he was mind raped by a legilimens in the past.

Someone finds out and hurt/comfort galore.

Newt and Credence are the happily married rulers of a wizarding kingdom, but it is discovered that there was an ancient covenant in which they must be married the king of the mysterious neighboring kingdom in order to have legitimate claim to the throne. This neighboring kingdom has a reputation for being dark and mysterious, and without having had any contact with Newt and Credence's kingdom for many years, Newt and Credence have nothing to go on. In addition they are not at all pleased with having to take on a third spouse.

They send word to the kingdom apprising them of the situation. Much to their surprise Newt and Percival receive a reply agreeing to the union, and the name of their intended husband is Percival. Newt and Credence are apprehensive as hell when the day comes that they will meet their intended husband. Credence, feeling jealous vows that he'll hate this Percival on sight, while Newt thinks he'll just treat this as a political deal and nothing more.

Then Percival actually shows up without any fan fair or honor guard, just himself on his black stallion and Newt and Percival are stunned but also intrigued. Percival is no doubt handsome, but there is this sadness to him that shines through his stoicism. He's distant and formal, almost prickly in his interactions with Newt and Credence.

The marriage happens, but Newt and Credence are even more intrigued when Percival doesn't particularly care to consummate anything and actually looks quietly afraid of the very thought. Something just isn't right, so Newt and Credence decide to do all that they can to earn Percival's trust. Once that happens, Percival finally reveals that when he was young and naive he had met and fallen in love with a Lord by the name of Gillert Grindelwald, and it had been the biggest mistake of his life as Grindelwald had abused and tortured him mentally and physically. Newt and Credence are stunned and then humbled by the fact that despite all the Hell he's been through, Percival still chose them. Now they vow to show Percival, their husband, what real loved is.

Graves is Credence's professor, and since Mary Lou won't sign the pass to go out on a field trip, Credence asks Graves. Graves says he will sign it in exchange for an under the desk blow job.
