ABO Pack Dynamics (Newt/Graves & Poly)

So, in some ABO au they focus more on pack dynamics. So everyone is a beta to start out with, and when packs form that when people become omegas or alphas. Some people are more inclined to be one or the other, but every pack only has one of each (everyone else stays betas). And most packs only have an alpha, because packs have to have one, but only certain packs have omegas. This is because in order to become an omega a person has to go through a 'breaking' process. It doesn't necessarily have to be violent or sexual, but most people believe the pack bonds are stronger that way. Once omegas are made, there are huge restrictions made for their protection, but they have their whole pack's support and unconditional love (like pack members coming from half way around the world when they find out their omega is injured, the omega is never left alone unless they request it, etc.). And once they're made, they have equal power in making pack decisions as the alpha.

So for whatever reason the gang are a pack (in order to have a great team for cases, and idk Jacob just kinda tags along a makes sure all of them actually eat bc he cares) and Graves is the alpha.

With as much of the work they do being incredibly dangerous, Graves is insisting on strengthening their bond by adding an omega- and he wants Newt.

It makes sense, Newt has the most care-taking instincts (with the exception of himself), he deeply cares about all of them, etc., but its also a huge, irreversible event.

Basically I want Graves just domming the hell out of Newt while the others watch (and I'm also not against some of the others joining in but please no Tina/Queenie) and then everyone coddling him for a while after because he deserves it.

BONUS: Credence is alive and part of the pack, and is eventually the reason Newt agrees because having an omega might help him stabilize

BONUS BONUS: After the breaking when Newt is being coddled because he deserves it, Jacob breaks out special treats for Newt because omegas were common in the army and while he technically wasn't an army cook, he got used to making food for omegas after breakings and knows what Newt's going to want.
