OP: Oh noooooo. By which of course I mean yessss, this is so perfect. Credence struggling with so many conflicting needs and feelings - not wanting to cause pain, but not daring to disobey Grindelwald, but also on some level wanting to please Grindelwald for saving him. Poor Credence.

And poor Newt, oh my god. Grindelwald un-silencing him just so Credence can hear him scream? This is all the best kinds of awful.

Author!Anon: Glad you are enjoying it - poor Credence is very confused about it all, and feels a lot of gratitude to Grindelwald. Newt meanwhile is in a lot of pain and doesn't know how to solve this problem
