Pft "he's an obstacle to what we are doing" Grindelwald you really think Credence believes you? He may have been enchanted by you (not literally) at first, but torturing one of only two people who have shown him unconditional kindness sure is helping to disillusion him.

Exactly! Grindelwald is so focused on what he thinks is true, how he feels about no-majs, that he's not focusing on Credence's views. It would be easy for him to persuade Credence, but (luckily for Newt) he's going about it all wrong
