Credence and Newt played Grindelwald, didn't they? Not to mention Grindelwald showed that, in fact, Credence cannot do anything else than to give his consent or other people will suffer.
Credence had to feel so bad and I'm sure it took Newt a while to make him agree to... stealing wands? Having a proof that Grindelwald is an asshole?

Only two more parts to end and I can't wait to see how everything will end, A!Anon.
