Oh... oh poor Credence! He tries so hard, and it's clear he's doing what he thinks is right here, but that wasn't... oh gosh. Poor baby. And poor Newt as well. And it makes so much sense that Credence wouldn't know - I don't get the sense that Mary Lou was that concerned about his health. And Credence trying to protect him without fatalities is actually a really good sign
