Because Eddie Redmayne is a f*****g beautiful woman in the Danish Girl (2015) and I was unsatisfied with how Hans was not attracted to our pretty cinnamon roll.

Newt returned to NY after publishing his book and pretty much set up shop above Kowalski's bakery. He often helps out MACUSA with missions related to magical beasts and have to crossdress for one of them.

Cue Newt being unusually graceful, attractive, and natural in female clothes and Graves being unprofessionally attracted to a certain cinnamon roll.

Newt, masquerading as Lili Elbe, meets a very interested no-maj Hans Axgil.

Hans discovered just how much he actually likes Lili after she passed away. When he went to NY, he found a lookalike and pretty much proceeded to stalk Newt around the city. Any attempts at a conversation or flirting of any type is always interrupted by a possessive/protective Grave.

*Tina and Queenie saw one of Gerda's portrait of Lili in a gallery and decided to dress Newt up as a woman.

Oh god yes. I swear, when I got The Danish Girl on my itunes I watched the entire thing (especially the ballroom scene) 120 times (and counting). I agree, Eddie Redmayne is a beautiful person who makes a gorgeous woman.
