oh.. oh wow. You were not kidding about the fluff (literally-drinking-coffee-as-she-types!anon) and it was gorgeous. Credence crying silently is so heartbreaking, the poor boy, and the way his fears are for Modesty...The kindness they show each other (boys. you are both good people) and Percival's list of nice people. and the interaction with the junior auror. and at the end there. Boys. You have to use your words.

Ah, caffeine. Sweet, life-giving coffee. What would we do without it?

They are so bad at using their words. I suspect Queenie and Tina are going to spend a lot of time tag-teaming both of them once they're free, and going, "okay, so you said this now tell him what you meant." While the rest of Graves' team offers commentary from the peanut gallery.

Collins: "Sir, would you like some advice on being married?"
Hughes: "You'd have less trouble communicating if you just screwed each other senseless more often."
Collins: "You can't say that to the Director!"
Hughes: "What, you think the Director doesn't have sex? Sir, back me up here. Tell Collins about your sex life."
Summersea: "I don't know any of you. You are complete strangers talking crazy talk and I will just be over there, across the room, pretending you don't exist."
Graves: "I have no idea why I missed any of you assholes."
