I've given up on thoughtful comments! I'm just going to quote bits of your own fic back at you! "Your eyes are laughing" I love your Credence SO much! Credence called him "Percival" without being prompted! Credence trying to sound stern is delightful! I love that you flipped the "shovel talk is for BOYS threatening GIRLS" ideology and then used it to segue into Credence's realization! "Ridiculously endearing" is a perfect description for this whole fic I am RIDICULOUSLY endeared!!!!

Credence is seriously delightful to write. And he's having a lot of trouble adjusting to not being told he's sinful and dumb. (He's going to pick up on being sarcastic from Percival eventually, but he's going to be so quiet about it that no one is ever going to believe Percival when he complains about it. Credence is going to find the whole thing hilarious.)
