Newt discovers a new magical creature on his travels. It looks like a bunny. It acts like a bunny. It has the ability to traverse multiple realities like a ...wait. He names it the Meta-Rabbit as a species. He names the individual Bugs.

Or: the blatant excuse to drop Newt and his Case into various other fandoms and see how he copes with each new environment.

The assembled group of dwarves and a hobbit standing before the entrance to Erebor had no idea where this strange man had come from, how he knew what they were doing, or what "Snuffy" was.

"Can I keep the dragon?"

“Well, not everyone. We still have terrible people here who mistreat Pokemon, but even most bad guys take good care of their Pokemon,” Ash replied, looking bewildered. “Where did you say you were from, again?”
