I know this isn't canon-compliant, but this is a kink meme so it doesn't matter. OK. On the one hand, you've got a dark, destructive force fueled by negative emotions and (self)-hatred, and on the other, a force for protection fueled by positive emotion and love. What if these were merely two different possible manifestations of the same magical energy?

Where I'm going with this: Creedence is technically dead but not gone, and when an encounter with Dementors or some other nasty thing goes awry, Newt finds out he's got one hell of a magical guardian looking out for him.

OH MY GOD the first part is genus!!!
I can see it in my mind- Newt casts a patronus (thunderbird may be?) and whisks some of the dementors away but there's just too many of them, and then Credence casts a patronus (thanks, mama!Newt and the rest for all the happy memories he finally got) and it doesn't have a form, it's just a raging cloud of bright energy that just wipes all evil out in the 10-mile radius .... I SO want this to be filled!!
