Hogwarts Student Percival/Newt

From first meetings all the way to Newt's expulsion.

- 5th/6th year Newt gets promoted to a higher level ‘Transfiguration' class by Dumbeldore and he meets 7th year Percival.

- Newt is pretty intimidated by him at first, but soon finds that he enjoys Percival's company.

- Soon they become inseparable and go through many trials together; Classes, heartbreak ,jealousy ,bullies, Quidditch, Triwizard Tournament, and the Yule Ball.

- When Newt gets expelled from the “incident”, he is shocked to see Percival with his owns bags packed ‘determined’ to leave also.

- After some argument and confessions, they leave Hogwarts together.


Percival was always good at reading people and knows Newt is different from the rest. Nothing like the bumbling idiotic mass called classmates that try to fawn over him to gain his attention. He considers Newt his one true friend next to Theseus of course.

An insecure part of Newt doesn’t understand why Percival stays friends with someone like him. Percival was good-looking, comes from a powerful magical lineage, intelligent, and charismatic. Newt was none of that and feels inadequate.

After Newt’s expulsion, Percvial has a bitter confrontation with Leta Lestrange. Is Leta the villain of the story or a friend who never wanted things to go this far? Thats Writers decision.
