I made the mistake of watching The Theory of Everything at 1am (not that it was a bad movie, just that it was tragic...) and my traitorous brain is now demanding the pure unadulterated torture that is terminally-ill!Newt. The illness can be the same, motor neuron something disease (I'm obvs not any kind of expert) or it could be magical.
