Three years after the Grindelwald incident, Graves ends up teaching Defense Against Dark Arts at Hogwarts. To his surprise, best-selling author Newt Scamander is now a professor there as well, teaching Care of Magical Creatures. Hilarity ensues.

Do they end up making out in the Astronomy Tower or having sex in the Room of Requirement? Is there awkward UST every time they have breakfast in the great hall? Do they interrupt each other's classes for the lulz?

Harry Potter goes left instead of right at the train station and [b/c what was left of Credence got absorbed by bb!Tom Riddle/other explanation] ends up arriving alive, coporeal, and master of death, in NY in 1926, where he promptly runs into Newt Scamander.

Bonus the current Potters, Gaunts and Grindelwald notice their various ...what the heck were the cloak, stone, and wand collectively called again? ...are acting up.

Bonus two: Harry tells either Newt or Tina about future together and consequently prevents it.

It should have been a perfect wedding, but considering whose wedding it is…. things go wrong.

- Tina is Percival’s Best man while Jacob is Newt’s.
- After the “ I Do's " Dark Wizards storm and crash the wedding, causing a giant fire fight.
- Then, one of Newt’s Beast escapes during the reception.
- The boys end the night tending to each other wounds, recalling the memorably chaotic events, and having fantastic sex.

Despite the chaos and expensive damage costs… they wouldn’t trade this day for anything.

Newt lied. He doesn't keep the separated obscurus in a bubble to protect it. He keeps it in a bubble because it has the potential to possess/become a symbiote to living people - essentially giving them a super-powered 'dark' side.

What happens if Grindewald had picked someone else from the movie to impersonate?

I'm actually picturing this as more of a crack fill, but if you want to go serious that's fine with me too

Grindelwald has (brutally) raped both Graves and Credence (to break Graves' will and to keep Credence compliant).

They meet each other after Grindelwald's defeat and learn about their shared trauma, trying to cope with what has happened to them together. Credence has some extra trouble because he can't stop seeing Grindewald!Graves in the original Graves.

I'd like it if the author takes both their personalities into account to estimate how they'd deal with something like rape.

Neither of them can stand being touched by someone else, but each other.
Plus, it would be nice of their was some implied consensual (albeit maybe awkward and uncomfortable) sex.

The reason Dumbledore has a soft spot for Newt is because the wizard reminds him of his little sister Ariana before she got attacked. So when Grindelwald shows too much interest in him because he unconciously realises the same and because of Newt's incredible affinity to all kinds of beasts, Dumbledore joins MACUSA's efforts in protecting Newt.

So we all noticed the similarity between Graves' hair and Grindelwald's, right?

This ends up being what Grindelwald does. When he takes someone's identity with Polyjuice, the first thing he does is give his new body his preferred haircut. When he inevitably escapes from MACUSA, he starts doing the same damn thing all over again. Eventually Aurors and wizarding governments start catching on, and Grindelwald can't figure out why he's getting caught so easily now. (Drawback is that once in a while the Aurors bring in some hapless wizard who just thought his hair would look cool like that.)

Bonus for real!Graves being incredibly offended that his coworkers didn't figure it out sooner. "How the hell didn't the haircut tip you off?!" "We just thought you were trying something new and didn't want to be rude."

On a trip to New York, Phryne gets embroiled in a magical investigation.

There are a lot of ways this could go -- is she a witch? A squib from an old wizarding family? A no-maj/muggle who knows what's up through her powers of deduction? Maybe she knows Newt or Jacob from her time in Europe during WWI. I feel like she'd get along really well with both of the Goldstein sisters, too, though she might initially be at odds with Tina re: investigative methods.

Alternately (or additionally), maybe Dot unknowingly foils an evil plot by helping Credence & Modesty get away from Mary Lou through non-magical means.

Newt narrowly escapes animal traders in is animagus form. Graves finds him injures in an alley and takes him home. He's got a soft spot for injured animals.

Problem...a) Noone knows that Newt is an animagus b) Newt is stuck in his form because he exhausted himself magically. He can't communicate and Queenie's legilimency doesn't work on animals even those that are human in mind c) His MACUSA friends are worried out of their mind and searching for him because they found his case and a lot of blood

Bonus...Newt's animagus form has wings.
Double bonus...he's able to reveal himself when Graves is in danger. Somehing like diving in front of him and transfoming
Triple bonus...Newt is actually a registered animagus (Theseus insisted!) but noone bothered to read that part in his file.

So I just read a great fill about a Dark!Newt, (https://fantasticbeasts-kinkmeme.dreamwidth.org/459.html?thread=309963#cmt309963) and there was a mention of him rescuing Veelas from being smuggled. I would just like to read a story about Newt rescuing Veelas and what happens next.

You can write Newt as gay, asexual, autistic, or being buried in a cuddle pile of cute french witches. Just please can I have a fill.

Graves just wants to put Credence in a corset because he knows the boy would look beautiful in one. So he buys him a corset and helps Credence putting it on in front of a mirror.

Or if Graves/Credence is more your cup of tea this could also be modern Graves/Credence where an important politician - Graves - has his sex tape released with on the internet which causes quite the scandal. Everyone's trying to figure out who the other man is in the tape and it takes a while to figure out it's the adopted son of the leader of the opposite political party from Graves.

At some point, Graves (who ISN'T Grindlewald and just got roped into taking care of Tina's No-Maj stray) goes to meet Credence and ends up going into heat during their meet-up. (Maybe someone slipped something into his coffee, maybe he got hit by a stunner the day before and it fucked up his cycle, who knows.)

Credence--shy, nervous, awkward Credence--understands that, as Omegas are so Precious and Important to society, it's his responsibility to take care of Mr. Graves while he's in such a Vulnerable state. So he convinces Graves to Apparate them both to his apartment and spends the next couple days taking care of the wizard. He draws him baths, and makes him food, and does everything he thinks he should so that Mr. Graves is comfortable... and then he goes into the living room and waits until Mr. Graves needs anything else during his heat.

It's all very frustrating for everyone involved.

Credence is frustrated because he KNOWS that he's not good enough for Mr. Graves--knows that Omegas deserve a Good Alpha or a Strong Beta or even another Nice Omega to take care of them during heats, and Credence isn't any of that, so he can't properly give Mr. Graves what he needs.

Graves is frustrated because there's an Alpha in the other room--a baby Alpha, but still--who keeps taking care of him and promising to give his everything he needs, and then FUCKING LEAVES THE ROOM WITHOUT FUCKING HIM.

Bonus points
-none of that "omegas are weak, alphas are strong, betas are leftovers" stuff that usually pops up in ABO fics (not that it isn't fun to explore a lot of the time, but I ain't feeling up to it rn)
-one of Graves' coworkers shows up after a day or two to check on him, since he didn't show up for work, and is very shocked that he has a heat partner (who looks about half his age ;D)

Because every ship needs a Gothic Romance AU, right? A Jane Eyre type story would be a really good fit but I'm keen to read any kind of Gothic Romance with these two.

(No Grindelwald please, happy with or without magic, prefer at least somewhat happy endings).

Would love to see some sort of time travel/AU/handwaveyness thing where Newt ends up meeting Sirius (in his Grim form) and recognising him for an Animgus.

Newt is a teacher, and Credence is one of his students. He's noticed that Credence is a pretty moody kid, and he's kind of concerned about him. Credence does well in class, never misses an assignment, has decent grades, and isn't an obvious target of bullying, but that doesn't mean there isn't something else going on.

When it comes time for parent-teacher conferences, Newt is a bit apprehensive. What if Credence's dad (who has a different last name than Credence -- what's up with that?) is the source of the boy's unease? So he's rehearsing in his head, constantly reminding himself that he is a professional, and there are steps to be taken when reporting abuse, etc. etc. etc.

Turns out, Mr. Graves is a Top Notch Father. He helps him with his homework, they hang out together all the time -- like he's a really good dad, and there's no reason to worry. Credence is just an Emo Kid with Emo Tendencies. So, potential child abuse case avoided. Excellent. Now how does Newt cope with his sudden crush on his favorite student's dad?

I sincerely hope this gets posted to Ao3 or something with updates. I loved reading it.

Graves loves coming home from a long day at work to Newt taking care of their kids and the house. He also loves to fuck Newt and make more kids.

Can I get Tina and actual Graves (presumably rescued from a trunk or something, post film) pretending to be married during an investigation? I am such a sucker for forced intimacy + awkwardness.

Bonus if they are for some reason undercover in a group of wizards or magical creatures that have a female-dominant culture. Would love to see Tina bossing Graves around in order to pass and him discovering to his surprise that he's really into it.

Queenie comes home to catch Newt playing with her clothes. Rather than being annoyed, Queenie would never turn down a chance to play dress-up, and is more than happy to help Newt pick out a lipstick to go with that particular dress.

Jacob doesn't even blink when Queenie introduces him to her new friend, Miss Scamander, and is more than happy to invite her along on the date he and Queenie had planned. He treats her like a perfect gentleman; coat over puddles and all.

Bonus for descriptions of Queenie's magical makeup? I can't help but imagine her vanity would be a wonderland...
