Before the movie, Credence and Original Graves knew each other. Whatever reason but preferably no Grindelwald follower!Graves or established relationship. Because of this relationship, among other reasons, Grindelwald swaps with Graves before the movie or at the very beginning.

Movie goes on as normal and then canon divergence - Credence finds out that Grindelwald has swapped with Graves. He's confused until he realises that means Graves has been hurt and captured and is being held somewhere by Grindelwald and he's not having that.

Cue Obscurus and no amount of persuasion from Grindelwald can get him to calm down. Credence rescues Graves and Grindelwald flees.

Tl:dr - Credence finds out Graves is really Grindelwald and wants the real Graves back.

Bonus: After everything Tina is the only one Credence will allow near Graves while he's recovering.
Double bonus: Newt is bemused but just accepts it as New York being very strange.

The downside of having an adorable magizoologist as a boyfriend is that sometimes he has a magical creature that likes shiny things, which makes it very difficult because Graves is trying to propose with a shiny thing.

Graves is trying to propose to Newt but on the big day he couldn't find the ring in his pocket. He knew the NIffler must've took it and gave chase but Newt was faster. Newt found the ring and when he cast a spell to find its owner it lead back to Graves, so Graves just threw away the romantic proposal plan he had and just proposed then and there.

Newt is a wizard and an alpha wolf with Credence as his beloved beta. Due to some law, they also need an omega. It is arranged the Percival, not your typical omega will join their marriage. Newt is disinterested at best towards Percival, while Credence, jealous because Percival is gorgeous, is downright hostile towards the omega and possessive of Newt. Percival for his part, remains outwardly stoic, but inward he is terribly lonely and is actually deeply in love with both Newt and Credence. It hurts him every time he's rejected by either. Newt, though polite to Percival, favors Credence and seems to only tolerate any affection for Percival. Credence is always baring his teeth.

Percival decides that he must prove his love and worth to both Newt and Credence through some highly dangerous trial. He overhears Newt and Credence talking about some legendary creature, like some type of dragon or unicorn and how much they would love even the tiniest sample from the creature. Percival sees this as his chance and begins to secretly form a plan to find the creature. One night, he and Credence get into an argument that Credence starts due to his insecurity. Newt sides with Credence and tears into Percival. Even though he's deeply hurt, Percival decides to go through with his plan. He leaves to find the creature that same night, leaving only a simple note to declare how much he loves them BOTH and what he intends to do.

When Newt and Credence find the note they are stunned and then deeply ashamed, Newt for not being the alpha Percival needs and deserves, and Credence for allowing jealously and insecurity to keep him from seeing that Percival cares for him too. The pair try to search for Percival, but to no avail. Just when they think they've lost their husband due to their own foolishness, Percival returns and much to Newt and Credence's shock, he doesn't bring back a small piece of the creature, he brings back the entire creature alive and well, and smitten with Percival.

Newt is in awe of Percival, that Percival could simple convince such a formidable creature to come back with him. Credence no long sees Percival as a rival, but someone who's love he could have. Now Newt and Credence fall over themselves trying to be worthy of Percival.

Newt and Credence are young mermen who grew up together and love each other immensely. Newt has always felt more at ease with the creatures of the sea rather than with other mer-people. Credence has been bullied his whole life and while his mother isn't abusive, she's not very attentive either. While they were growing up, Newt and Credence heard tails of the legendary protector of their community of mer-people, a merman named Percival Graves. Percival is admired, but also distant, always working to protect everyone but barely interacting with anyone. He doesn't even have any mates, nor comes to any of the mate finding events.

One day Newt and Credence are exploring together, observing some amazing sea creatures when they see Percival himself. He's strong and handsome with his gorgeous black and white tail. Newt and Credence are awestruck when they see Percival swim right up to the sea creatures they were watching and pet them and smile. In that moment both Newt and Credence fall in love with him and are determined to win him.

They look for Percival every day to see what he likes or doesn't like, and start leaving gifts outside of his underwater home. Some of these gifts from Newt and Credence are hit or miss, with the ones that miss being utterly hilarious, like Newt giving Percival a rare clam that actually tries to eat poor Percival, or Credence giving Percival a rare stone that actually turns Percival's hair temporarily purple by accident. Either way, Newt and Credence keep at it until Percival finally catches on and starts one upping them by giving lavish gifts in return.

Everyone is stunned when all is revealed, and by then those who oppose, like Mary Lou or Newt's parents can't do anything about it as Percival accepts both Newt and Credence as his mates.

Grindelwald brings Credence to a bdsm sex club. He's surprised to find himself jealous when the other patrons come on to Credence.

Newt gets easily distracted. The moment a magical creature goes by, he needs to stop and look.This can be awkward/annoying on dates.

He decides to bring Credence to Dumbledore, hoping his old friend will put aside their differences if it means helping an innocent young man. Grindelwald plans on using Credence to take over the world the moment Credence can control his powers. Only once he gets to Hogwarts, Grindelwald can't seem to make his mind focus on world domination. Instead, it keeps venturing into areas such as how he can convince Dumbledore to forgive him and how good Albus looks in those boots.

Cue him Rushing in to Madame President's office and requesting a special dispensation to give Jacob back his memories in order to fight the decline of this rare endangered species......

especially since it would be worse to have the thing escape and fly around Muggle New York looking for it's mama instead of having Jacob have regular visits with it.

Then I just cannot help myself not to imagine ssomehow that incident had caused a chain effects of people asking the usually cold stern Director as their model, all in all, exploiting his sexiness because fan girls are screaming wildly and they WILL pay for those images/posters of the smoking hot Director in their rooms/walls!

Cue:
1. A certain charity organization, let say...a nonprofit organization which works for beasts conservation (post Newt introducing his books) asks Graves to model in their calendar. At first Graves declined since he IS an Auror, not a model but then the spoke person said they couldn't afford real model because the cost was high. (Bonus: if the spoke person sold Newt's name because people knew the Director has a bit of soft spot to the English guy!) So he albeit agreed ~~(because of Newt!)~~. Viola, his poses splashed on the calendar. The calendars was sold out fast!

2. After the calendar success, a newspaper in New York something equals to The Daily Prophet, issued for a special edition, covering all A-Z about Percival Graves, director of magical security MACUSA. At first Graves was suspicious because the journalist often stayed clear of him and not only one time the paper had questioned and criticized his works and tend to have a stand opposite of what his work/stance. But somehow he agreed ~~(forced by Picquery)~~ and so Director Percival Graves appeared at the front cover. That edition sold out fast

AU or canon divergent, I don't really care, I just really need rich!Credence taking care of Graves.

Credence passes a shop, sees some expensive jewelry in the window, thinks "Ooh, Percival might like this" and buys it without a second thought. Credence brings roses and hundred-year-old Scotch when he heads over to the penthouse suite that he pays for Graves to live in. Credence keeps Graves in silk suits and satin ties and takes him to expensive restaurants whenever the mood strikes.

Just. Percival Graves as a sugar baby to a rich Credence Barebone. I have a mighty need.

It's the middle of the night, I've got insomnia, and I've read all the Tina/OriginalGraves I can find. I know you can't work this fast, dear writer, but maybe you can save future me from this dull fate on some later night of sleeplessness?

Can I have Tina and Graves stuck together until they can't stand it anymore and have to fuck? Magical cabin in a sorcerous snowstorm, really really broken elevator, unpickable handcuffs, spelled to stay within ten feet of each other for a month - I am not picky. I just want awkwardness and resentment of circumstances warring with hidden attraction until a metaphorical dam breaks. Or maybe a literal one, depending on how you set your story up.

Credence was adopted by Newt and Graves sometime after the incident in New York.

Shaky beginnings were expected of course, but Newt and Percival quickly grows to be a stable and loving parents for Credence. Credence has never felt this happy, safe, or loved… but Grindelwald has other plans.

He comes to their home at night, Percival tries to defend his family and is killed in the process. Newt takes Credence and tries to flee back to England but Grindelwald catches up with them. Newt sacrifices himself without hesitation to give Credence a chance to escape.

Credence finds his ‘uncle’ Theseus and is immediately taken in, because Theseus refuses to allow his best friend and little brother’s sacrifices to be in vain. Credence is hidden and trained.

Credence over the the years grows into a strong capable wizard but even as a man in his mid twenties, his hatred for Grindelwald has’t died. He dreams of revenge, he has been dreaming of it since that night, when Grindelwald destroyed his life for the second time.

- Since Newt adopted him, Theseus is technically his uncle.
- Pickett is under Credence’s care now.
- Tina rarely writes and visits out of fear of tipping off Grindelwald to Credence’s location.

Not sure I've seen this prompt (sorry if there's already one) but because it's December how about Credence's first Christmas with proper presents and food and all the trimmings. Don't mind who's there to celebrate but original!Graves/Credence as the pairing. Established relationship or get together fine (prefer get together but not picky). I just want Credence to have a really nice Christmas basically.

Credence accidentally stumbles on Newt having sex with someone and instead of getting the hell out of there he remains hidden, staying out of sight as he guiltily takes pleasure in Newts quiet moans and the lovely expanse of his bared body.
