Queenie spots this, maybe says something. And Newt has so much sympathy for Jacob. Maybe talks about how in the Wizarding world you can choose your sex to match the gender you feel.

Maybe they help her? Maybe Jacob lives happily with Queenie after he gets his memory back at the end of the movie- wife and wife in private and husband and wife in non-magic public? IDK

Important Bits:

The Trans struggle in a society that 100% does not accept you and the Trans struggle in a society that 70-80% accepts you on the surface.
And how even in no acceptance, trans woman Jacob finds a way to come to peace with herself.

So, in some ABO au they focus more on pack dynamics. So everyone is a beta to start out with, and when packs form that when people become omegas or alphas. Some people are more inclined to be one or the other, but every pack only has one of each (everyone else stays betas). And most packs only have an alpha, because packs have to have one, but only certain packs have omegas. This is because in order to become an omega a person has to go through a 'breaking' process. It doesn't necessarily have to be violent or sexual, but most people believe the pack bonds are stronger that way. Once omegas are made, there are huge restrictions made for their protection, but they have their whole pack's support and unconditional love (like pack members coming from half way around the world when they find out their omega is injured, the omega is never left alone unless they request it, etc.). And once they're made, they have equal power in making pack decisions as the alpha.

So for whatever reason the gang are a pack (in order to have a great team for cases, and idk Jacob just kinda tags along a makes sure all of them actually eat bc he cares) and Graves is the alpha.

With as much of the work they do being incredibly dangerous, Graves is insisting on strengthening their bond by adding an omega- and he wants Newt.

It makes sense, Newt has the most care-taking instincts (with the exception of himself), he deeply cares about all of them, etc., but its also a huge, irreversible event.

Basically I want Graves just domming the hell out of Newt while the others watch (and I'm also not against some of the others joining in but please no Tina/Queenie) and then everyone coddling him for a while after because he deserves it.

BONUS: Credence is alive and part of the pack, and is eventually the reason Newt agrees because having an omega might help him stabilize

BONUS BONUS: After the breaking when Newt is being coddled because he deserves it, Jacob breaks out special treats for Newt because omegas were common in the army and while he technically wasn't an army cook, he got used to making food for omegas after breakings and knows what Newt's going to want.

Okay so I know the timeline is NOT working with me here, but let's pretend it is:

Newt doesn't wear fancy stuff, its mainly about practicality. Which is why the fact that he always wears a black ring on his middle finger, always on the right hand is pretty weird. It doesn't seem useful for anything, and when someone finally asked if it was a wedding ring, newt blushes and denies.

So, no one really gets what's up. Newt doesn't wear jewelry because "its to dangerous with the creatures" but that the ring is an exception.

Then one day he loses it. Its just gone. Newt looks sad and lost and hurt, and when someone finally asks, its all newt can do not to break down.

Theseus met Percival during a student exchange or a Triwizard-like competition or any such collab between Hogwarts and Ilvermony. They became friends and later penpals, until graduation and after. Both pursued a similar career choice as auror-in-training, and a few years down the line, it's Graves' turn to visit Theseus. It can be a personal invitation (maybe ambitious Graves is stressed out because he climbs too high and too fast, and Theseus invites him down for a holiday bcos mate, we haven't met in ages), or it a formal visit to strengthen the diplomatic relationship between MACUSA and the British MoM, or any other reason.

Graves was invited to stay at the Scamanders' house and that's where he met Theseus' younger brother, final-year student at Hogwarts, who was home for holiday. Things ensued :D

only think of it more in the sense of Jeeves and Wooster, or Tony Stark and JARVIS, where the butler, robot or otherwise, is the one who really holds all of the power, and frequently has to prevent some of their masters' more ridiculous schemes from causing too much trouble. Newt goes off on wild searches and gets into increasingly dangerous scrapes with creatures, and Percival has to gently pull him back from the edge and take care of his Dom while all making it look like he's only doing what he was told.

(I mean he DOES genuinely like getting on his knees and getting fucked and tied up and having Newt take charge so it's not like his incredibly hard work never gets rewarded.)

I confess when thinking of this prompt I couldn't decide if I liked Newt as the Dom or the sub so if you think it works better the other way around feel free to switch them! Also also I was thinking of this somewhat in the context of canon but if an AU setting makes more sense I say go for it.

Newt tried something so stupid that not even the aurors could see a way to forgive him for it without setting a highly dangerous precedent, so he's maybe four years in to doing like at least 10-15, maybe longer, in MACUSA's prison.

Assuming that either using dementors as prison guards wasn't a thing yet in the 1920s, or that America never adopted the idea, I want to see a younger!Graves (up to you how old you make Newt) as an auror trainee who, like all the trainees, is assigned to guard the prison while he completes his studies to become a proper junior auror.

This is how he meets the eventual love of his life.

Bonus for Newt, who is totally NOT a hardened criminal, still kind of playing up the idea that he MIGHT be one, because he knows that without a reputation in prison you're asking for trouble, so new inmates are told in hushed whispers, 'that's the guy who was trying to amass an army of manticores. You don't wanna fuck with him.' Newt had actually just been trying to get hold of two manticores--a breeding pair--so he could studying their mating habits, but that's not nearly as badass so.

And then idk maybe Newt gets out early on good behavior, or he and Percival stage a prison break and go on the run to have magical creature adventures around the world. There's definitely a lot of Newt convincing Percival that the law is not the be all and end all of life, and it's definitely not always the best way to ensure the greatest good.

"It could be any one out of hundreds " -I can't remember the exact wording but Credence says something along these lines to Grindel!Graves about the superpower child he's looking for. And he's being very literal. Credence doesn't understand what makes one of them so much stronger or why Mr Graves is being so picky.

See, the thing about Mary Lou is that she adopts from families she knows/heavily suspects to be witches in the interest of "correcting" them in the eyes of God. Meaning that a lot of them have magic. And what do you get when you make kids suppress their magic?

Basically Mary Lou has created a whole pack of obscurials. Credence just happens to be the oldest and strongest.

Bonus1: this is why, apart from Credence and Chastity all the kids are so young. They're being killed by their obscurus.

SO in the movie Newt mentions that muggles and Wizards have slightly different physiology. What if, because of the way an obscurial develops, they have slightly different physiology from muggles or wizards?

What if Credence could see through GrindleGraves's disguise the whole time but since he had never (to his knowledge) met another wizard and because of his mother's "lessons" about witches he thought that all wizards had two faces and two voices that layered over each other?

Graves goes undercover to investigate Newt's suitcase. An easy task when you're an animagus. Or so he thought.

Real quick there's a song called not today by tøp and the chorus sounds quite desperate and panicky, but one of them is modified from you're out of my mind, to I'm out of my mind, as is the rest of the chorus.

It seems like someone resisting the manipulation, seemingly giving in, then getting away it seems, as the chorus then reverts back. I'd love to see newt/gw but I'm not against graves/gw or credence/gw either!
