Credence is afraid to use his safeword because he's sure that Mr. Graves will leave him if he does. One night, Graves asks Credence to do something Credence finds uncomfortable, and Credence starts crying in the middle of it. Graves stops to ask Credence if he's okay, and it all comes out. Cue lots of h/c and reminders that that's why they have a safeword, and of course Graves wouldn't leave Credence if he used it.

Percival might be the director of the magical security department, all powerful and authoritative and cool and commanding when he's at his job, but in private he's incredibly submissive and is in an established relationship with his Dom, Newt Scamander.It's the only way he can function and remain sane after his captivity. Newt never beats him or punishes him, neither of them is into that. Newt is all about positive reinforcement, aka praise kink up the wazoo.

I want a scene like that with Theseus and Newt with Graves and the others thrown in. Theseus finds his little brother almost dead after a battle he wasn't supposed to be at, maybe a joint stint of british and american aurors. Both Theseus and Percival tried to make sure that Newt wouldn't be anywhere near it but he knew that his expertise would be needed in the end.

My headcanon is that Theseus and Newt would do anything for each other and after Theseus protected him for so long,Newt can't live with the thought that his brother and the man he's come to admire might come to harm.

Just to be clear. No death! But close enough is aright. ;)

+ Just as with Eomer they only realise Newt was there when everything is over.
++ Brotherly love with Percival/Newt is okay, but I'm certainly not against it if it enters 'triad' territory aka Theseus/Percival/Newt.
