It's like metamamorph magi, but it's tied to how Newt feels that day.

To keep the darkest wizard of the day imprisoned, they needed a powerful guard. An obscurus who, against all odds, hadn't died.

In other words, Credence is the one who makes sure Grindelwald can't escape the prison Dumbledore put him in.

Before Voldemort can come to kill him, Grindelwald hears that Rita Skeeter is writing a book that is going to defame his old friend's memory. He's not about to let that happen. So he escapes and goes to confront her. Only, along the way, he finds out that maybe Dumbledore isn't so dead after all...

In which Dumbledore faked his death because plot, Grindelwald wants to protect his memory and goes after Rita Skeeter, and somehow the two old friends reunite.

It doesn't matter to me (I would ADORE it being actually J/N but not needed) if they are actually dating... the animals all ship it.

They try to drag them together. Douse them with attraction pheremones.

Many are convinced that Jacob must be the right (female) mate for Newt, as smell how sweet his pheremones are and how dark his plumage. So plump- Newt should have tons of strong babies- and look! Such a well fed and capable mate and offspring carrier! Etc Etc Etc

For all the shyness with which he comes across, Newt is secretly one of the best Doms in the Wizarding world. When he returns to NY he finally meets the real Percival Graves, who was rescued from wherever Grindalwald imprisoned him. He's recovered physically and back at work being the formidable Director of Magical Security. He can fool everyone else, but not Newt. The moment he sees Percival, Newt sees a man barely holding it together, and most surprisingly, a sub. Later that night, while Percival is slowly falling apart, alone in his house, Newt shows up. Percival is stunned when instead of the shy young wizard he had met earlier that day, Newt is standing tall and looking him straight in the eyes. Newt strides in and at the very beginning, he reaches out and showers Percival with some much needed tenderness. Percival allows himself to break under Newt's gentle care. Once Percival has composed himself, Newt declares that he's claiming him as his sub and then hurries Percival into his case where he introduces Percival to all of the magical creatures. Slowly but surely Percival starts to heal with Newt as his dom. Sure, he's still the boss at MACUSA, but once he comes home he's totally Newt's. They develop a loving relationship, but a few months later a wisp of swirling dark magic materializes at their doorstep and takes on the form of someone thought dead. Credence, alive but only just. Newt nurses Credence, another sub, back to health and claims him too. But it is not smooth sailing as Credence is terrified of Percival and Percival feels guilty for not doing more to protect Credence and fight off Grindelwald. Credence may also be a little jealous as well. Either way, they all go through a big adjustment period before Percival and Credence finally make peace and admit that they love not only Newt, but each other as well. The Niffler just keeps stealing anything shiny in Percival's house.

Senator Shaw has Mary Lou sends Credence around with more information about her cause. When Credence gets there, Shaw decides to show him that freaks are only good as sex toys. In the middle of being raped, Credence grabs the pendant and summons Grindelwald, who is not at all happy with Shaw...

Instead of Jacob having the idential suitcase and accidentally switching with Newt, some one else does. Preferrably a canon (one of the Shaws? Mary Lou? GrindelGraves?!?) but anyone else who could concievably been in NY with a tan/brown suitcase ~~like the Man In the Tan Jacket, with a Briefcase Full of Flies, from Night Vale~~ is also cool.

So fic request - everyone gets hit by a de-aging spell that reverts them back to the age they lost their virginity. Everyone is varying ages - I don't really mind Jacob or Queenie or Tina's ages. But then Newt shows up and he's barely into puberty.

Cue everyone freaking out a bit as he tries to underplay it.

Literally anything about Newt being involved in the war. Stories about him training dragons for war and hating himself for it. Or about fighting himself. About getting letters from his war hero brother out in the trenches and being both ashamed and grateful he avoided that. Maybe he was pressed into service and really didn't want to fight at all? Performing magic in front of so many muggles to just keep them alive - maybe why he didn't obliviate Jacob immediately was just force of habit from the war. Maybe he avoided WWI because it was just political squabbling that he disagreed with but then when WWII comes around he can't just sit by even though fighting kills him a bit inside. Just anything about Newt fighting in the war.

Grindelwald doesn't want his captive to suffer too much. And he's noticed that Graves looks very tense lately. So Grindelwald strips Percival and gives him a full-body massage, throwing in a happy ending for good measure. If Graves doesn't want it, that's no concern of his captor

In which the last thing Newt expects when Grindelwald escapes is to find the man in Newt's apartment, demanding to know why Dumbledore cares about Newt so much.

Newt and Dumbledore's relationship was always a student-teacher relationship. Not romantic or sexual. However, they are close and, after the incident in NY, Dumbledore did give Newt hints about his and Grindelwald's past. Newt realizes that when Grindelwald asks him, "Why is Albus Dumbledore so interested in you?" He's really asking him, "Are you two a couple?" and he realizes that Grindelwald is jealous.

After real!Graves returns to work, he enlists Scamander to help on a case. While thinking Newt useful, Percival doesn't have any illusions about the Hufflepuff house- after all, it has quite a bland reputation (especially in his, Wampus's opinion).
Newt, surprisingly, keeps proving him wrong.

1. Dumb- when Newt cracks - almost playfully - one of the toughest cases Graves has ever come across in his career.

2. Boring- pretty soon Graves realizes that Scamander with his love for dangerous beasts and tendency to get into trouble is anything but boring.

3. Weak - when Grindewald's acolytes orchestrate his escape, Newt proves to be more deadly than a group of aurors Graves personally trained for combat, saves Graves and stops Grindewald from kidnapping the President.

4. Afraid to take risks- after Grindewald escapes, MACUSA starts a witch hunt- quite literally. Paranoia, looking for moles and traitors...And Graves is on top of the list. Of course, no one thinks he'd do anything like that in his right mind- but being in Grindewald's captivity for several months? Who knows what curses the dark wizard could've placed upon him...Graves finds himself more and more isolated, only to find Newt by his side, unperturbed by the risk of falling in love with a possible traitor.

5. Naive - Graves would've never thought that Newt, so shy and awkward, could be so adept in sexual gratification, and so shamelessly lustful. But Newt is a Hufflepuff, a house that prides itself in satisfaction of carnal desires.

And one time when Newt proved a Hufflepuff stereotype right:

+1. Loyal - Graves and Scamander follow Grindewald to England and into a trap. Grindewald generously offers Scamander to escape unharmed, leaving Graves to his fate, or face torture and slow death. Newt, proving his unswerving loyalty, refuses despite Graves pleading him to go.
They are, however, saved - by Newts ingeniuity, his beasts, Credence, or a horde of angry Hufflepuffs who heard that their fellow classmate is being tortured by the dark wizard (you choose).

Percival is a powerful alpha, a protector of the wolf shifter population, but without a mate. He prefers the solitude despite several shifters showing interest in him. One night he's out on patrol and he is stunned to find a young wolf with pure white fur matted with red, barely alive. The young wolf is an omega and in dire straits. Without thinking, Percival starts tending to the wolf, using his magic to stop the more grievous wounds from bleeding. Just as he's finished stabilizing the young omega, a second omega with golden auburn fur comes barreling out of nowhere and stands protectively between Percival and the injured wolf. The young omega is fierce in his protectiveness but also afraid. Percival in intrigued, and impressed. He could easily overpower the golden omega, but instead Percival simply reaches out and licks the golden omega's snout in the equivalent of a wolf kiss, utterly stunning the younger wolf. Percival does the same to the injured white omega and gently coaxes the pair of omegas to relax and come back to his personal den. There, they all shift into their human forms. The white wolf turns into a pale and scared young man named Credence, while the golden auburn wolf shifts into a golden haired and shay looking young man named Newt. Percival is smitten and vows to protect these two from this day forward, and not a moment to soon since the ugly, albino alpha (Grindelwald) that injured Credence in the first place because both he and Newt rejected him is still out there.

Cue the slow building of trust with both Newt and Credence attracted to Percival, a striking alpha in his own right and above all a decent person despite his hard-nosed demeanor.

basically all in the title. newt is my Autistic Son who lacks both a filter and social skills, so i would love to see a 5+1 that's basically 5 times he says something that lacks just enough context to come across as.... Very Inappropriate, and then one time he Meant for it to sound that way

- Newt and Graves have ended up sleeping together occasionally in the years since they married, but on a purely convenient basis, as neither one of them wants to sleep around outside marriage and it is practical.
- Graves has loved Newt for years, but not wanted to pressure him into anything.
- At first Newt thinks the Credence thing means Percival is cheating on him.
