Jumping off the prompt further up on this page - fic where Grindelwald does successfully coerce Dumbledore into coming to him by capturing and threatening Newt. All the dub-con or non-con Gellert/Albus, with bonus Newt whump! Albus dealing with his own conflicted feelings towards Gellert or Gellert insinuating that Albus is only using Newt as an excuse and actually wants this would be great.

No Newt/Albus, please, but platonic Dumbledore caring for and wanting to protect his students would be great.

Gridnelwald and Dumbledore are exes (yes, I know Rowling said the feelingw were one-sided, but for the purposes of this prompt...)After Grindelwald's taken into custody, it's a big deal and the whole Wizarding council is invited to view the interrogation. Dumbledore manages to get himself invited or let in, planning to just observe. Of course, this turns into him and Grindelwald arguing about their relationship as the council and MACUSA officials listen/watch in confusion.
Bonus for something along the lines of
"Well, at least I'm not the one with commitment issues!"
"Oh, so you weren't the one who up and left without saying so much as 'I'm sorry'?"

Grindelwald finds out that Credence is the obscurial a different way. Grindelwald's prisoner, the real Percival Graves isn't cooperating very well, so Grindelwald decides to bring in Credence and torture him in front of Graves. He figures that he can always obliviate Credence afterwards to maintain their rapport. However, Credence, on seeing his mentor being held prisoner, loses control of the obscurus and ends up saving Graves (and keeping himself alive).

Note: If any potential filler wants to pair Credence with Graves or Grindelwald, that's fine as long as Credence is 18 or older in the fic. Please no adult/child pairing.

After the events of the movie, Jacob somehow becomes reunited with Newt and after working together wrangling and caring for magic creatures around the globe, they fall into a loving relationship. When Credence winds up at their door asking for help and guidance, Newt's nurturing side and Jacob's good nature won't let them turn him away. After several months developing his magic under Newt and bonding with Jacob over everything New York, Credence comes into his own. However, watching their loving relationship makes Credence long for something he's never had, and realize his own growing attraction toward the both of them. When Jacob and Newt realize his feelings (whether Credence tells them or they find out through other means, idc) they decide to show him the love and affection he deserves in every way they know how.

Basically virgin/unexperienced and touchstarved!Credence, first time Newt/Credence/Jacob. If you want to involve past Credence/Graves that's great, especially if Jacob/Newt help Credence acknowledge the abusive nature of that relationship while still recognizing the lingering feelings Credence might have toward him.

Queenie is a legilimens and senses something off after Gridelwald takes over Graves' body. Although the Grindelwald is able to hide his thoughts (any dark wizard worth his salt would), the "feel" of his mind is just different and Queenie goes to see what's wrong/check in on him because she's so caring. And of course Grindelwald can't have anyone knowing about him...

Newt is used to making shady deals: more specifically, he doesn't realize that having to trade his body for information/creatures is wrong and should never be done, ever. So when another character finds out, they are horrified and try to explain to Newt why he shouldn't do that anymore. It can be crack (like Newt going "Oh, he gave me the erumpent milk I was looking for, all I had to do was close my eyes and suck it out of a hose :D" and jacob going "ಠ_ಠ") or serious.

Inspired by earlier prompt about Queenie sensing something off about 'Graves'.
Sometimes MACUSA staff meetings can get really boring. More than one person lets their mind wander. Queenie ends up sitting near Grindelwald, who is currently fantasizing about Dumbledore.
She had noticed something off about 'Graves', but on hearing his fantasies, thinks he's struggling with realizations of maybe being gay and trying to hide it from his colleagues (early to mid 1900s weren't exactly friendly towards homosexuals). This leads to her trying to subtly convey that she understands what he's going through without betraying that she read his mind.
Of course Grindelwald thinks that when she says something like, "Some people just don't understand that being different is nothing to be ashamed for." and gives him a pointed look, she's somehow figured out his disguise and means that she supports his agenda.

After his defeat by Dumbledore, Grindelwald knew his plans to rule the world would never succeed. However, he was still a powerful wizard and wasn't content to remain prisoner. He escaped and transfigured and obliviated someone else to look like, act like, and believe he was Grindelwald. Meanwhile, Grindelwald decided that if he couldn't rule the world with Dumbledore at his side, he'd be damned if he didn't at least live an ordinary life with Dumbledore at his side. He disguised himself as a professor and insinuated himself in Dumbledore's life. Maybe he just wanted his friend back. Maybe he planned on slowly seducing Dumbledore to the dark side. Or maybe he planned to eventually take his revenge. Whatever original motives, by the time Half-blood Prince comes around, Grindelwald has been in a romantic relationship with Dumbledore (who still thinks Grindelwald's a Hogwarts professor)for several decades. It could be perfectly genuine affection or maybe it's a twisted, super psycho love. But whatever the reason, Grindelwald isn't about to let anyone kill Dumbeldore. He ends up saving Dumbledore in HBP and teaming up with him to defeat Voldemort.

So when we went to see the movie, my brother turns to me and goes "why the fuck does Newt have a fucking dementor in a bubble?" Obviously we then learned that it was an obscurious, but now I can't stop thinking about it.

When the aurors attacked Credence and blew him up, they thought they were eliminating the threat an adult obscurial posed. But instead, all they did was force Credence to level up, in a sense. And now they've got a very pissed-off dark creature that eats souls on the loose. And he's got one hell of a grudge.

Credence has been wandering around New York, trying to keep hold of the obscurus and trying to find the nice woman and man from the subway, the ones that tried to help him. Every now and then, he wanders past a certain bakery. With no job or money, he can only stare hungrily at the pastries on display.

Jacob doesn't know why he makes pastries in those particular shapes, but he knows that they attract a lot of customers. And he knows that the young man who comes to his window every now and then could definitely use some food, even if he never buys anything.

Jacob begins to offer Credence free samples and, as they get to know each other, offers him a job and a place to sleep.


P.S. Please no Jacob/Credence. I'd like theirs to be a father/son relationship (not in the kinky sort of way).

P.P.S. I'd love if this led to Newt, Queenie, and Tina finding out Credence is alive and them helping him, but that's up to any potential filler.
