Graves/Newt - Soulmarks

I've seen a lot of soulmate fics for this pairing, but none with the traditional name-on-wrist variant. So, all his life, Newt's had 'Percival Graves' on his wrist. The polyjuice potion doesn't copy soulmarks, and the connection that happens when soulmates touch doesn't transfer either. So, when Newt turns up in New York, he knows almost the moment Grindlegraves touches him that something is seriously wrong.

Dumbledore is at his wits end. He's certain that Voldemort has created horcuxes and that Harry is one of them. However, he has no idea where the others are and can't justify a teacher leading a student to his death. Desperate to find and destroy the horcuxes and to find an alternative to Harry's death, Dumbledore decides to go to the most intelligent person alive beside himself, Grindelwald, for help. He secures his old friend's release on the condition that Dumbledore be responsible for making sure Grindelwald doesn't kill anyone/take over the world/the usual, and on the promise that this is absolutely vital to defeating Voldemort. Grindelwald in turn is promised...IDK, something he wants if he cooperates.

How does this change the course of the books? Does Gellert betray Dumbeldore?

Graves/Newt - ABO, protective!Theseus

Omega!Newt is a rather appealing omega: he avoids eye contact, he's submissive, he does his utmost to make his nearly 6 foot form look more like 5 feet, and he's got a nurturing instinct that's the stuff of legends. Add to that his adorably ruffled hair, his pretty eyes, and his overall attractive nature and Newt makes for the idealized omega.

...Only, he's rather unaware of that fact. And seems to forget that he's an omega 99% of the time.

Enter Theseus. Theseus knows what's up. He spent most of his life making sure that a) Newt didn't get carted off by some asshole alpha and b) that Newt took his suppressants frequently (a much harder task than most would expect). He made sure all of the pushier alphas at Hogwarts knew to leave Newt alone and, when Newt was off traipsing across the world, he sent Newt frequent owls to remind him of when his heats were coming up (as well as care packages containing hot cocoa).

Now enter alpha!Graves. Graves finds himself very attracted to the young omega Tina dragged in. He starts to tell his old pal Theseus about the omega he's planning on courting, what with his bashful smile, his adorable curly hair, and-- oh yeah!-- that (questionable) suitcase of magical creatures he insists on bringing everywhere.

... Graves isn't quite sure why Theseus appeared on his door step and hexed him, but he's relatively sure he didn't do anything to deserve it.

tl;dr: Oblivious!omega!Newt is being courted by enamored!alpha!Graves and over-protective!Theseus takes it upon himself to step in and defend his brother's honor.

Bonus: Newt is oblivious and Graves is dropping major courting hints that are apparent to everyone but Newt, much to Graves' embarrassment.

Bonus 2: Omega!Theseus pretty much raised Newt himself.

Bonus 3: Newt getting into all of the trouble because, despite the surface appearance of an obedient and submissive omega, Newt Does As Newt Damn Well Pleases (or as his magical creatures please, as it were).

After he escapes, Grindelwald comes for Newt. Newt, nursing a crush on Tina and in the middle of rescuing and rehabilitating [insert dangerous magical creature here], is most definitely not going to go with the evil dark wizard who's shown up at his campsite. Grindelwald, however, won't take no for an answer.

And so Newt finds himself locked up in a literal tower, his case and wand confiscated. Meanwhile, Grindelwald finds himself quickly becoming infatuated with the quirky young wizard he's caught.

This can be dark or relatively cracky - whatever the author thinks will work best!

Don't know if anyone's prompted this before, but while Newt's creatures are being impounded at MACUSA, his niffler manages to get out and steal...something. A pocket-watch with a lid to it, a cigarette case, a shiny-looking box, anything...from out of 'Graves's pocket. Newt doesn't find it until they're out of MACUSA, but when he opens it, out pops an extremely irate Auror who is not at all pleased to find out that he's been in there for months at a time.
Bonus points for:
- Tina's demotion was actually down to Grindlewald, to prevent her from improving Credence's situation enough that he might re-absorb the Obscurus.
- I'd quite like Newt/real!Graves to show up at some point, but I'm up for anything.

Credence/Newt/Percival: Percival feeling left out and insecure

Percival can hardly believe that after everything that has happened with Grindelwald and his own torture and imprisonment he's ended up with not only Credence but Newt as well. In the beginning Percival is more happy than he's ever been but slowly the doubt starts to creep in. Everything that Percival went through had left his confidence in himself very shaken. When Newt and Credence start to spend more time together taking care of the creatures and Newt teaching Credence how to control his magic instead of Percival, the auror starts to feel less like a lover and more like a third wheel. This goes on for days if not weeks with Percival slowly feeling like he's dying inside and both Credence and Newt innocently oblivious. It all comes to a head when maybe Percival in his distracted state gets seriously hurt on a case or Credence and Newt forget his birthday. Either way Percival sadly tries to break things and go with the two men he loves most. Credence and Newt are horrified by what they've allowed Percival to thing and are now hellbent on showing their Percival just how much he means to them. The magical creatures helping them do this is a great bonus!

Not many people know what Grindelwald did, and it's in the best interests of the government to keep it hush-hush, so few people know that Graves was kidnapped and impersonated, etc.

So when he goes back to work (possibly demoted? because he's still recovering) with pretty bad PTSD, there are a lot of rumors. It doesn't take long for the rumors (about his culpability, his competency as an auror,...) to grow and the harassment to start. It escalates to abuse and gets out of hand. Someone (Tina, Queenie, Thesseus, Newt...) steps in before Graves has a total breakdown, and comforts/defends him.

bonus:
* Graves' hesitant to fight back physically because he's afraid everyone will take his harassers' side, and unable to fight back verbally because Graves stole his self-confidence and self-worth
* People calling Graves 'traitor' and 'slut' under their breath, and Grindelwald having messed with Graves' head so much that he starts to believe them
* Something a harasser at work does triggers a panic attack/flashback of his time with Grindelwald

Newt is captured, tied up and tortured by someone. Tina storms the place to get him back and no one has ever seen her this fierce. You don't touch Newt, ever, or else you're in for a world of hurt.

I'd like this to be non-established relationship where the two are clearly attracted to each other but haven't admitted it yet. Bonus for Newt being in awe and thinking warlike, protective Tina is the sexiest thing he's ever seen (and is horribly embarrassed later when he realizes Queenie has picked up on those feelings.)

Real!Graves/Newt/GrindelGraves - Accidental soulmates

I've been seeing quite a few Graves/Newt soulmate prompts around where Newt knows Graves isn't the real Graves because polyjuice can't replicate the soulbond.

But what if it did, at least in part?

What if polyjuice copies everything from the original person, including soulmarks/soulbonds etc. For most people when they revert back to themselves their own bond overpowers the temporary one made when under the potion. But Grindelwald is one of the few who doesn't have his own mark so after he triggers Graves and Newts bond he doesn't have anything to override it when he becomes himself again. So while Graves and Newt are definitely soulmates, Newt and Grindelwald kind of are as well now and no one knows quite what to do.

Bonus points for Real!Graves in captivity seeing/feeling his soulmark activate and knowing Grindelwald is with his soulmate.

Credence finds Percival wondering around without his memories and decides to use him to get to Grindelwald (he basically uses his face to get to ppl who worked with Grindelwald!Graves and didn't get the memo that he got captured).

It is quite dangerous job and Graves is more and more sure that the young man who saved him from the street is something else than a friend from him forgotten past.

Credence trys to use Grindelwald's ways to seduce Graves and make him still work with him. The whole thing backfires when they fall in love.

Now, if Grindelwald and Graves both bond with Newt, Grindelwald will not only have a coveted omega in his power, he'll also have the most powerful auror this side of the atlantic at his call.

Tina seems to take Grindlegraves' behaviour rather harder than Newt, and she and the real Graves worked together for years. So, can we have a fic dealing with these two being closer to one another? Graves was her mentor when she was just starting as an Auror, they've worked together on a few things, whatever, just...Graves and Tina being in some way (preferably not romantically) close, and how this affects how Tina deals with finding out that Grindlewald replaced him for months at a time, and she never even noticed.

Credence survives that night at the station, and is taken into custody. The real Graves is found, traumatised and in a spitting rage, but otherwise fine. And then it's discovered that Graves went missing at the beginning of the year. He doesn't know Credence at all, except as a member of the Second Salem group. The really awful thing is that Grindlewald was a good actor, and interrogated Graves to get the least details of his life from him, and so Credence sometimes has trouble forgetting that they aren't the same man, and Graves is unsettled by how well this complete stranger knows him.
