Prompt Post #2

  ROUND 2

Seeing as we've reached 4,000 comments in Round 1, it's time to make a new one. Same (lack of) rules apply. Gentle reminder to everyone to refrain from posting extremely long prompts, though. While no word limit will be imposed, take note that it is very unlikely for someone to fulfill your prompt if your prompt alone is already several paragraphs long and containing a number of specifications.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
-(01/14/2016) We now have a TRADING POST where you can exchange fills with people.
-The prompt freeze is over! You may resume posting prompts. The next freeze is scheduled on February 8, 12:00 AM (PST) or if this round reaches 4,000 comments; whichever comes first.
-Due to popular demand, we now have our first couple of rules!
RULE #1: No prompt must exceed 250 words. Any prompt that exceeds that WILL be screened.
RULE #2: Please state RPF in the subject line if your prompt involves real people.
RULE #3: No kinkshaming.

Also: interested in helping out the kink meme? We are in need of:
-Mods to help manage the kinkmeme itself
-Volunteers to help update the tumblr page

If you have free time to do one or the other, go ahead and e-mail us at fantasticbeastskink@gmail.com.
Thank you to those who have already volunteered, and have a nice day.

Pet name confusion

(Anonymous) 2016-12-27 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
So what if Grindlewald isn't 100% sure if Credence is Graves sweetheart or his illigitamate son so keeps things as vague as possible when interacting with Credence while posing as Graves.

Percival/Newt - Dementor's Kiss

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 12:21 am (UTC)(link)
Let's crank up the angst here.

Grindelwald, in an act of revenge, plants evidence against Newt that marks him as a traitor.

Percival, blind with betrayal and grief in the face of irrefutable proof, sentences Newt to a Dementor's kiss.

When it's all said and done, Grindelwald reveals the truth, and Percival has to live with what he's done.

He doesn't have the heart to kill the empty shell of Newt's body, it's all he has left. He won't kill himself, no matter how much he wants to, because Newt won't be waiting on the other side.

Bonus if there's a scene where Percival is just gently cradling Newt's empty body.

(If you want to spin this into a happy ending, be my guest, but before that, please bring forth all the angst.)

Building off the previous comment, the first time I saw the movie, right up until the "Graves just wants the obscurial" moment and the Grindelwald!Graves reveal, I was convinced that Credence was Graves' illegitimate son and Graves, in his awkward I-don't-know-what-I'm-doing way, was trying to bring Credence into the magical world.

So let's have that.

Credence is Graves' illegitimate child (youthful foolishness?), Graves was trying to connect with him, Grindelwald happened and twisted everything, and now we've got rescued but traumatized Graves trying to connect with and fix things for alive but traumatized Credence.

+ the Goldsteins stepping in as Credence's mother/sister/female role model figures
++ Newt may not be great at most human interaction but he (and his creatures) turns out to be excellent at bridging the gap between father and son
+++ Newt/Graves relationship along the way (my fav., but totally optional)

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 10:38 am (UTC)(link)
Anon, are you me? When I saw the promotional posters for Graves and Credence, my first thought was, "Oooh, family air".

I have a bundle of notes for a fic which pretty much goes along your prompt lines but for one difference - Grindelwald finds out about their connection before Graves does, and starts toying with Credence under his father's features so he can taunt Graves with the perverseness of it. Would that be too dark for you? There wouldn't be more than what we see on screen, and the endgame would still be Graves and Credence bonding post trauma, possibly with additional Graves/Newt (my OTP).

Obscurus!Newt

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 12:59 am (UTC)(link)
So this popped into my head a day or so after I watched the movie and I haven't been able to get it out of my head since. So what if instead of Credence being the obscurus, Newt is. He tries to keep it hidden, but when upset enough, it bursts out, which is what I would like to see happen. However the obscures managed to manifest inside him is up to you. I just really like the idea of sweet, precious Newt letting out such powerful, dangerous energy without meaning to.
+If it happens over the MACUSA trying to take his suitcase from him
++The reason he is so hesitant to be around others is because of the obscurus

Graves, Amnesia but happier because of it

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
In order to imitate Graves so perfectly, Grindelwald took all his memories. Literally. When Graves is found he has no memory of his past life.

Tina, Picquery, or Theseus (or all of them) is somewhat saddened to realize that (after a bit of recovery time) Graves seems happier without all his memories. Turns out Grindelwald has done something of a favor for Graves-- he's erased a lifetime of bad memories, and put Graves in a position to finally build the relationships he secretly craved for all those years.

I just want something bittersweet. Graves has lost the man he was, but is recovering to be someone more well-loved. Any pairings you want to add are fine with me, but if you want to keep it Gen then that's fine, too!

Graves & his Patronus post-Grindelwald, Gen or Graves/Any

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
I've seen one or two patronus related prompts on the first round, but a post on tumblr about Graves' got me thinking about how his might change after his imprisonment. I mean, we don't know what he went through, but best case scenario is he was kept Mad-Eye Moody-style isolated in a confined space for weeks/months at a time with little to no torture, and worst case is... well

as it is, we know a patronus' form can change due to a new romantic interest, so it's pretty likely it could change due to trauma, too, so...

what was Graves' patronus before his imprisonment? how did that form change afterwards? was it drastic, like a complete change in species or size, or less obvious, like it remained the same animal but changed breeds? how long did it even take for him to conjure it again? how long before he could think about his happiest memory without remembering the worst?

+ this could easily be Graves-centric and gen, but hey, ships are rad and he deserves some love after the grindel-bullshit he was put through. maybe they could help him through it, even. I'm not picky!

FILL: After The Night, When I Wake Up (1/2)

(Anonymous) 2017-01-31 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Ma had punished him again. He had come home after dark and she had been waiting for him, like always. She sat on the wooden stairs, like always. There was no way for Credence to go upstairs to his bedroom to sleep without having to go past Ma first. He doesn't like it. Of course he doesn't. If she sits there, it usually means he will get hurt, especially when the sun went to sleep long ago.

"Credence. Where have you been?" Her cold voice made a shiver run down his spine. This time, it wasn't one that was caused by the cold winter weather. It wasn't very warm inside the church, but it's not as bad as outside where it's snowing. "I... I was looking for a place for tomorrow's speech," Credence said. His voice was soft, a little broken. He only looked up at her until he had finished talking. After that, his eyes went straight back down at his feet. He watched the shiny tips of his black shoes. If he didn't spend so much time cleaning them while he tried to hide away from Ma, they would look as worn out as his coat and trousers.

Just like always, Credence was expected to hand over his black leather belt before joining his mother upstairs where she would punish him for his disobedience and behaviour only she would call foul. Once she felt like she had inflicted enough pain on her adoptive son, Credence was free to go. He would hide away in his bedroom and not come out until the end of breakfast. The longer he could hide, the better.

Ma doesn't really care about Credence. Whatever he does, she's always watching him. Sometimes, it even feels as if she's watching him in her sleep. Credence is scared. He's scared she will also hurt him in his sleep. Once he closes his bedroom door behind him for the rest of the night, there is no way Credence will open it again until the sun rises on the next morning.

Some nights, Credence is so scared and hurt he hides away immediately. He goes to his room with a beeline and doesn't even think about coming out again until it's too late. Ma could treat him like a dog sometimes, yes, but Credence was still a boy - a person, and people have things to do. They have to take care about themselves and wash their hands and their face and brush their teeth before going to bed. Some of them even need to use the restroom before they crawl underneath the wool.

Sometimes, Credence did none of that. He's too scared.

Not washing your hands or your face before going to sleep wasn't really that much of a disaster. Ma won't notice and even if she did, she wouldn't make a difference in the punishment the next evening. Sometimes, Credence didn't even know why she wanted to hurt him again. It had come to a point where he just accepts it, as if it's part of his daily routine. Wake up. Pick up some leaflets. Go out. Hand out the leaflets. Dwell around on the streets to escape home. Return home after dark. Receive punishment. Sleep.

Credence laid curled up on top of his sheets. He had his arms wrapped around him and shivered slightly. His hands still stung from the punishment he had received, but he knew that gritting his teeth would help him forget about most of that pain. It wasn't the worst kind of pain he had to deal with nowadays. What was worse was the thing that's lurking inside of him. Credence doesn't really know what it is. He just knows that it hurts a lot and when it hurts the most, it will knock him out and let him wake up in places he doesn't even remember going. Ma always punished him even before he knows what had happened after one of these moments.

The pain left pressure on his entire body. His chest felt heavy, but also as if it could explode any moment. Was the beast about to break loose again? Credence dearly hoped that it wouldn't. Not now. He could not take another punishment on the same night. Hell, he doesn't even know how many more punishments he's able to take in general. He just knows that he's scared, very scared and cold, and that his bladder is full.

His bladder is full and his bedroom door is closed. Ma is probably watching. She had seen him hide away in his bedroom right away. He can't leave anymore now. Not until sunrise, which was still hours away from now. Credence could try and hold it, but it was a tricky thing to do. He felt weak. That's what Ma's punishments were for. They reminded Credence of how weak he is supposed to be and usually, it worked out like that pretty well. He couldn't hold it up for so long, not if he stays awake for so long. Perhaps, if he goes to sleep, things might work out fine.

Credence let his eyes fall shut. He remained on top of his sheets. One hand - the one that hurt the least - travelled down to cover his lower stomach. Soothing the discomfort in his bladder might help him fall asleep. A single tear rolled down his cheek as he drifted off. It was all just getting too much. He wanted it to stop. He wanted to escape and run from Ma's evil hands, but the boy had nowhere else to run. That's why he stayed. Here, he has a roof above his head and food, things you don't find that easily in the snowy month of January.

-

The sunlight entered Credence's room. He felt a little warm. Only a little, and it only came from underneath him. It was just his lap that felt warm. Credence furrowed his brows, his eyes were still closed. He shifted a little and listened how he could hear children talk underneath him. They had gathered for breakfast and it would soon be his turn. Once Ma calls out for them to gather their leaflets, Credence would head downstairs and take a bite of breakfast before joining them.

However, Credence couldn't join them. Not like this. His trousers were wet and still warm and when he moved, it all just felt so sticky and gross. He moved hesistantly, trying hard not to squirm or make any other sound. Perhaps Ma could hear him. She couldn't find him like this.

With the sun having woken up, Credence could finally leave his room again. He knows that Ma keeps around spare clothes for him. He just has to get them without her hearing him move around. She'll know when he's in her room, where she keeps the spare clothes for her children. A fresh shirt or pair of trousers was only allowed if Ma deemed it necessary.

"Credence."

He hadn't even heard her come upstairs. Credence let the spare pair of trousers fall from his hands, covering his bare feet. He tensed up visibly and let his arms drop to his sides. His gaze autiomatically went down, facing the piece of clothing that covered the feet he stared at so often. "I-I'm sorry, Ma. I-I spilled water. Can I... Can I have my spare pair of trousers, please?"

"You liar." She spat her words and Credence flinched. He could see the shadows of his sisters join his mother in the doorway. Modesty asked something in the likes of "What's happening, mommy? What did Credence do?", but he wasn't too sure. She spoke too soft. "You liar!" Mary Lou repeated, louder this time. Perhaps, the children downstairs had heard as well now. "You did not use any water in the bathroom yet! I can hear it when you do, Credence! Take off your pants!"

Credence couldn't object. He can't say no to Ma, ever. She would punish him for disobedience.

"Modesty, Chastity, go back downstairs, sweeties. I'll be back in a moment to hand out your leaflets." Ma always melts when she looks at her daughters, as if they were a hundred times more valuable than Credence. "Now, you." She turned back to look at Credence, who hadn't moved a single muscle yet. "Take off your pants! Why do I always have to repeat myself with you, Credence? Can't you be a little more like your sisters?!"

"I-I'm sorry, Ma." Credence kept his eyes set down at his feet when he unbuckled his belt so he could take off the pants he had slept it. He handed them to his mother, who briefly brushed her fingertips over the wet stain on his lap. She had to hide away a pleasant hiss behind a malicious smirk and glanced up at Credence. "You wet yourself."

"I-It was an accident, Ma."

"You're disgusting. Get dressed and join the children. No breakfast or you might wet yourself again."

Credence nodded hastily and picked up the spare trousers from the floor. He scooted away when Mary Lou tossed his belt at his bare feet. He both liked and despised that tool. It helped him keep his pants up and around his hips, but it also hurt him nearly every night again. He needed the belt, as much as he needed the breakfast he won't get today. Usually, some food helped him keep the demon inside of him at bay.

Percival/Newt, Cock warming & Somnophilia

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 04:35 am (UTC)(link)
Newt and Percival both keep odd hours, so it's not uncommon for them to be on opposite sleep cycles for days and sometimes weeks at a time. However, through a fair amount of communication and kink negotiation they make it work.

They have a standing rule that if Newt comes to bed and Percival's not wearing any underwear that is considered a declaration that Newt can do what he pleases to Percival's ass. Some nights when Newt is particularly tired he just snuggles up to sleep, rutting gently against Percival's backside until he falls asleep. Other nights he fingers Percival a bit, then slides inside him and just stays there, savoring the hot clench of Percival's body around him until he drifts off.

On the best nights Newt fucks Percival until Percival is dripping with his come. Percival often wakes up a bit on these nights, but most of the time he just spreads his legs a little wider, murmurs "be sure and clean up after yourself" then settles back down to sleep.

So what if instead of being a hard-assed but generally alright guy original Graves was actually a dick-head? Like, think of your shittiest boss and that's Graves.

Not necessarily racist/sexist/other bigotry here, but like perniciously bureaucratic, subject to changing work schedule without warning, having 0 sympathy for anything, likely to penalize you for missing work for thing you can't control like childbirth, etc. Just a real dickhead.

People didn't notice he'd been replaced because they thought he'd finally found someone/something to remove that massive stick from his ass and have him actually act like a half-way decent human being for once.

Graves/Newt, Dragonlord

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 09:02 am (UTC)(link)
Considering that Newt worked with ukrainian ironbellies during WWI, I'd like to see an AU where the Scamanders are descendants of Merlin and Newt is the first descendant presenting as a dragonlord.
The family keeps it secret because with a dragonlord on your side, you have near limitless power. Newt played it low during WWI. He was "simply good" with dragons.

So I'd like to see a situation after the movie where Newt either has to conciously reveal himself or a lot of people are going to die OR he accidentally reveals himself because an enraged dragon horde tries to protect him.

+ You thought Newt's other beasts are protective? You haven't seen a dragon in Newt's vicinity.

Grindel!Graves/Newt, Original!Graves/Newt

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 09:14 am (UTC)(link)
Grindelwald actually copied all of Percival Graves memories, so he recognises Newt, knows that original!Graves is in love with him and realises that if anyone were to recognise him as a fraud, it would be Newt. He acts accordingly by treating Newt with kindness and actually defending him in front of MACUSA's council. Who better to find his obscurus than a magizoologist who has dealt with one before?

Newt is happy to see Percival but feels uneasy at the same time. His heart knows something is wrong but he can't pinpoint it. So it's a race between Grindelwald fooling Newt long enough and Newt finding out the truth and trying to protect Credence.

+ 1: Grindelwald plans on keeping Newt after they have found the obscurial
+ 2: Happy end between Orginal!Graves and Newt

Credence/Graves, spanking (& angst?)

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 09:54 am (UTC)(link)
[abuse cw] Credence has suffered through years and years of Mary Lou beating him with his belt, obviously very unpleasant to him. So then why, when Mr Graves spanks him with his hand, does it feel kind of... good? Credence is confused by this, if not angsty and conflicted (well if I enjoy this then maybe I deserved being beaten, etc.) Maybe Graves notices and helps Credence to talk through his feelings? Wherever you want to take it, as long as Credence discovers he enjoys consensual spankings and struggles to understand himself.

Fill: Spare the child, spoil the lover (1/2)

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 06:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Some people fitted their own bodies like a glove; some like a straightjacket. Credence knew to whose group he belonged.

Or thought he did, until he came to live with Mr Graves, who had filed a request for his integration to the magical world just before he was taken, and whose first measure after he was released was to renew it. Credence, still swirled and sickened by the dark vortex within himself, could only stand by and watch as Mr Graves fought for him - fought, he thought, like one of the black-and-white heroes in the film magazine he had once found in the street, half in a puddle, and brought home in his pile of pamphlets, to his later cost. They were tall and close-shaven, with their chin regal and their hair slicked back, and dark eyebrows that spelled fierce but fair, and Mr Graves was all that. He fought like an eagle ("like a Fireball," Mr Scamander's edition), and Credence gave him his entire trust again.

Even after they learnt to live under one roof, and he found that Mr Graves could simile too; could, once in a while, cook in his shirtsleeves and magic jazz music that wasn't sin here, his first vision stayed an imprint. There was the crimefighter and there was the nurturer, and they somehow slipped into one another, making one, whom Credence loved, but never canceling each other.

Perhaps like God and Jesus made one, too, although he hoped God would forgive him for turning Him into a Graves textbook.

Their first kiss struck a light to the heart of that paradox. He heard the authoritarian in Mr Graves's rough-spoken "Of course I want this", and the strong circle of his arms; but it was the carer who kissed back, who enflamed sensation in Credence's mouth with his and later coaxed Credence's tongue - your unruly member, Ma used to say - out of hiding and into sweet, intoxicating play.

They went slowly about the dangerous business of pleasure. Mr Graves wouldn't have it any other way, even though he was a widower, learnt in the turns and twists of the flesh - not all of them, he laughed, but some, yes - and walked Credence through them. Just as, in daylight, he would take Credence one step down into himself and teach him to release his secret well of magic. Often it felt the same - that this fund of wrong could glow with right under Mr Graves's patient, relentless guidance.

Magic fused out of his body, charm after charm, but it never blossomed so well as when Credence let go, leant back against Mr Graves in jubilant expectation and let him close his fingers around Credence's wrist or hold his arm up; made Credence close and open his eyes on command; exulting in his trust. In bed, too, Credence found that he liked it when Mr Graves ruled their times. They never did anything new before he was told about it and asked if he liked it, if he wanted it; and he always nodded with a secret frisson at the thought that Mr Graves would then take over.

His life with Mary Lou was still halfway to becoming his past. At times, he sneaked a glance down at his wrists and the naked inside of his arms, chafed crimson like his knees from rubbing against the sheets, and his unruly member twitched at the sight; but the redness troubled him. He remembered the other Mr Graves stroking it away, and then another stroke, hard, pushing his head aside with the force of it. And they merged, past and present, into a cloud of sensual anxiety.

"Are you all right?" Mr Graves would ask; caring, frowning; on the verge of troubled, and Credence would fight a spike of guilt. Mr Graves had made it clear that he wanted him to forget the past, and he was not doing right by Mr Graves in letting these thoughts in.

Days came and went; and nights - not all of them, but as many and as soon as Mr Graves could spare them - were all play. Credence was still one part bold, three parts nerves, and it may have been the nerves that, one evening when they were still on the big mahogany sofa, made him tickle the close-cropped nape of Mr Gaves's neck.

Next thing he knew, they were both at it, giving it full rein: he giggling, while Mr Graves laughed and tried to pinion him to the velvet belly of the sofa. It ended with him on his stomach, his upper end locked inside a firm arm-hold, his pajamas wriggled half down the curve of his buttocks. Then, he felt it - in his mind, before he felt it: the backward arch of Mr Graves's other arm, the fresh tickle of air to his naked skin, almost imperceptible, as Mr Graves's hand parted the air smartly, eagle-like; flew, landed; landed a firm crack across Credence's firm resonant flesh.

Touch came, hard upon sound; one sense gearing in while the other was still full-blown and quivering. He gasped, every nerve called out while more of him grew and quivered, pressed against the sofa's belly. It was too much, and the too-much it tore a cry out of him,.

He didn't know why the sound, or what the feeling, reddening within him on the stroke of that instant. But it burned, hotter than any pleasure; and Credence still remembered when he had burnt from a touch there. It had been leather, thin and venomous as a snake. It hadn't been skin, and it had whistled; its white-hot intensity worse than any pain before. But burn is burn, and so he knew what he felt now had to be shame, and buried his face in the velvet cushions accordingly.

Graves/Newt: Wedding Party Forced Attendance

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 10:07 am (UTC)(link)
Graves was arranged to marry to Theseus since they were kids, problem is, Newt has been in love with Percival just as long.

Newt has made every effort to crush those feelings. Why? Because Newt wouldn’t dare selfishly destroy Theseus or Percival’s happiness. He won’t deny it hurts and so when he is commissioned by the ministry to travel and write for the fantastic beasts, he accepts. It will keep him busy and away.

Its his second year on the trip when he finally gets the letter he dreaded. An invitation to a party for Percival and Theseus, with words written by his mother saying that he 'better' attend or so help him… and with a date. Well…Damn.

Desperate and not wanting to deal with this alone, he turns to his friend/brother/mentor Albus Dumbledore. Well begs… on his knees pleading, to come with him as a date to the engagement. Albus already knows about the whole situation and agrees.

They arrive and people are fascinated with Newt’s date, which they should, because Albus is very charismatic. But Percival’s reaction is not what Newt expects, instead of his usual polite warmth its very cold and standoffish. Percival just seems quite annoyed with their presence and that hurts.

= Dumbledore is a bit younger in this version.

I want to see Graves loosing his shit and going beserk after Newt is thrown against a table and knocked unconcious (headwounds bleed a lot).

Bonus: Everyone is surprised because Graves never showed that he even *liked* Newt and treated him more as a necessary annoyance.

Gen, GRAVES LIVES button campaign

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 03:53 pm (UTC)(link)
The cafeteria lady starts the campaign. Graves was always nice to her. There's a button saying Graves Lives on her uniform.
+ Picquery notices and uses one, because she and Graves were not quite friends but she respects him and believes in him.
+ + everyone in MACUSA, even non-Aurors, get very into the search for Graves.
+ ++ the niffler accidentally drops a button while trying to sneak around. It finds the (cig case, shrunk trunk, it's up to you where Graves has been stuck) so Graves is found

Because I just remembered Phil Coulson and Sherlock Holmes. And also because I'm starting a Graves Lives tag on ao3.

Newt/Credence, A/B/O, omega!Credence

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 04:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Credence is an omega and while living with the Barebones, always spent his heat locked away/thrown out of the house/actually forced to function and still hand out fliers and is, well, used to dealing with it by himself and trying to fend off creepy alphas (up to you if he succeeded or not!).

Then he's living with alpha!Newt and his heat takes him by surprise. Newt helps him set up a nest and brings him food and water and tea, cuddles and pets his hair, and basically just treats him like one of his own creatures. It's up to you if Newt is ace or just strongly into completely-informed consent but I just really would love Credence devolving from a semi-rational well, it wouldn't be so bad, Newt's not a bad person to whining and begging and pleading while Newt insists he won't, they'll talk about it later.

+ Credence wasn't sure he could trust Newt until this
++ They do talk about it later! And it ends in sweetness and kisses <3

The Nature of Things (1/?) (ABO, ace alpha!Newt, omega!Credence)

(Anonymous) 2016-12-29 12:10 am (UTC)(link)
(small hint of dietary issues in this chapter. Saw this prompt and could not let go of it)
Since his early childhood, Credence had understood how the world worked. The strong males, the warriors, like Mister Graves; both of them, they were the Alphas. The kindhearted men and women of the world, they were Betas. That man who had come over one day with something held in a bag, and asked him if he would be willing to do something for him, who had offered him two fruit buns and said he could eat them both for free if he was willing to say which he preferred, he was a beta. From the ages of eight to fourteen, Credence had gone to bed every night praying that he might be allowed to be a beta, that he could be kind and good and helpful.

Then there were the weakest, most sinful males. Those were the ones who were cursed to be omegas. When Credence felt the first stirrings in warmth within him, he had prayed to god to be forgiven, to be allowed to be spared this weakness. But no freedom came. He was an omega. Sinful. Monstrous. He hated himself for how he was made, saw no good in it.

When he was young, he would try and hide feelings that would start to build within him, to close his eyes and try to will them away. He would sit in the corner of the church and breathe slowly, try to contain the urges that fought within him, and ignore how some of the other churchgoers came closer to him, how attendance rocketed those weeks.

After one of the men had pinned him to the pew, Mary Lou had chased the man away and beaten Credence until he was bloody, then thrown him down to the cellar to deal with the sinful creature that he was. The first time, she hadn't given him water. The second and the heats after that until his sixteenth birthday, he had been given water, and some bread, and been told to spend his time in prayer. If his mother found he had touched himself, there would be hell to pay. Regardless, he would still be beaten, for being a sinner. For tempting men from their wives and women from their husbands, for being against the natural order of things.

By sixteen, he normally managed to hide the first few days of the heat, until it became unbearable. The first heat after his sixteenth birthday, he had gone to his mother, expecting to be thrown in the cellar once more, almost longing for the chance to curl up and hide, knowing that being curled up smaller helped defeat the agony in his chest.
"Ma-" He started to tell her, as she pushed some leaflets into his hands. She raised an eyebrow.
"I know boy. Think I can't smell it on you? You're an adult now. If you think I'm going to continue to let you take weeks off at a time just because you feel like it, you have another thing coming. Return when you've finished your leafleting for the day. And Credence? If you sin, I will know."

Going out into the street, feeling strangers' eyes upon him, had been terrifying the first time. The second, knowing what was coming, it was worse. He learned to run, to hide. He managed to survive, even though he knew every day he could find himself dragged away. Not eating helped a little, because the heats were less intense when his body was fighting off starvation. He hadn't known before that his treatment in the cellar was a kindness, but he knew it now and he made use of it.

On his eighteenth birthday, Chastity had given him a bottle of perfume.
"It'll help." Was all she had said. And it did help. It hid his smell, and while it didn't stop the agony that pierced through him, the way he wanted to scream, to cry, to beg, it at least meant that alphas didn't notice him as much. By the time Mister Graves arrived on the scene, he had run out of the perfume, and couldn't risk buying more.

The other Mister Graves had smelt what he was, had sworn that when his time came, he would take care of him. But before he had reached the heat everything had fallen apart.

His mother was dead. Never again would he be locked in that cellar, or forced to hand out flyers late at night with the eyes of men staring into his soul. Instead, he found a new purpose. He was helping Newt with his creatures, feeding them, grooming them. He was even helping Newt with his writing sometimes, sitting on the floor with a puffskein in his lap and listening to Newt's words. His old life was behind him, and everything was better now.

When he felt the first stab of pain in his stomach, he realised that there were some things he wasn't ever going to escape, some reminders of his sin which were written large in his body and his soul.

He got to his feet and went to fetch the pellets for the mooncalves. He had work to do.

Graves/Theseus, Newt, angst and PTSD

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 04:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Inspired by the previous prompt: "Percival/Theseus (+Newt/Tina), disgustingly in love"

Newt returns to his parent's house for a family holiday and is taken completely by surprised when he finds Graves there with Theseus. After the initial misunderstandings and reassurances that he's Graves not Grindelwald, Newt spends a lot of time avoiding Graves because of the trauma associated. After a while, Theseus gets fed up and confronts Newt, thinking he didn't like Graves or disapproved of him in some way. Newt concedes to Theseus' wishes and spends time in Graves' presence, trying hiding how tense and scared he is. But Graves and Theseus are Aurors and notice. During another fight between Newt and Theseus, it comes out that GrindelGraves tortured Newt in the tunnels and that Newt usually gets triggered by seeing Graves. Cue angst.

Gen, 5 times Newt's British pureblood upbringing was noted by his American friends

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 04:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Although his fondness of Muggles and his good relationship with Dumbledore, Newt was raised in a magical, old, pureblood household, following customs and traditions, learning their beliefs and family specific spells, potions, rituals, etc.

British Pureblood Wizarding views/beliefs for:
- how Magicals don't really discriminate on sexuality
- like commenting on how muggleborns and muggle raised have more issues with sexuality considering their exposure to muggle prejudices
- possibly the capability of conceiving through potions (male or female)
- maybe USA don't have this because British pureblood a are typically reluctant to share family secrets or its too conspicuous to have pregnant males walking about for the secrecy (?)
- pureblood etiquette, the really formal traditional politesse
- common pureblood habit of marrying cousins
- some magical beasts, like puffskeins, and other beats used for pets or transportation
Etc.

Pureblood customs/traditions like:
- winter solstice instead of christmas
- Samhain instead of Halloween
Etc.

It'd be interesting to see the differences between the British purebloods and the American magical society.

Obligatory orgy prompt + incest

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 04:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe it's sex pollen. Maybe it's how they like to spent a lazy Sunday afternoon. The point is, I want to see Newt, Tina, Queenie, Jacob, Graves and Credence involved in an orgy. Ideally everyone gets a taste of both sexes. There's a sleepy cuddle pile afterwards.

Bonus if Credence and Newt were virgins before this, and the more experienced characters help them along (think one of the girls fingering Newt or Credence open and then holding their hand or helping them keep their legs spread while they take their first cock...)

Any M/M, inappropriate lube

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 05:14 pm (UTC)(link)
It's the 1920s-- you can't exactly go out and buy yourself a bottle of KY in any corner store. So the pairing of author's choice makes do with whatever they've got on hand. Vaseline. Cooking oil. A stick of butter. A glob of Crisco.

Re: Any M/M, inappropriate lube

(Anonymous) 2016-12-29 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
This discussion has been going on in Les Mis fandom since the beginning of the internet and I've always been intrigued (usually it boils down to some kind of animal fat--tallow, lamp oil--or cooking oil), but I'm sure there are many more alternatives 100 years later. Or are there?

Love the prompt! And I'm curious what inventive anons could come up with.

Graves, vacation fail

(Anonymous) 2016-12-28 06:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Graves hasn't taken a vacation in years. He is very stressed and grouchy. Aurors hide under their desk just at the mention of his name. So one day Picquery sends Graves on a vacation to a remote tropical island and don't you dare show up in the office in next two weeks and I will know if you won't go! Except workaholic Graves hates vacations. And 100% city boy Percy hates nature with a passion. A remote tropical island = hell. He gets sunburnt, something bites him, he discovers he has about dozen allergies, he gets food poisoning etc. But this vacation might still be salvaged.... there is something fishy going on in the hotel. Now that gets Graves' investigative spirit going.
