Seeing as we've reached 4,000 comments in Round 1, it's time to make a new one. Same (lack of) rules apply. Gentle reminder to everyone to refrain from posting extremely long prompts, though. While no word limit will be imposed, take note that it is very unlikely for someone to fulfill your prompt if your prompt alone is already several paragraphs long and containing a number of specifications.

He goes to New York to try and help find him.

Percival has just graduated from Ilvermorny and he's begun working for the MACUSA. He's young, ambitious, capable, handsome, gay and repressed, because the magical world, like the no-maj one, isn't particularly tolerant of gay people, even if their reason is population control/eugenics rather than religion. Percival coming from such a respected family that he can embarrass/ruin his own prospects for a good career are all the more reason to be repressed. He's also painfully, soul-crushingly lonely.

That's Gringeldwald, of course, and Grindelwald does what Grindelwald does best - grooms and seduces a vulnerable but powerful young wizard for his own purposes. Grindelwald has a plan and having the loyalty of a capable young Auror who will definitely rise through the ranks while secretly being on his side (and in his bed) is definitely a part of that plan.

So for reasons some ministry officials or aurors have to come to America. Maybe to bring back Grindelwald, maybe for PR, who knows. But anyway, none of them are very fond of Newt. He always was rather odd, sticking his nose into ministry affairs where he didn't belong. So when they come to America, they try to belittle Newt, especially in front of important members of MACUSA. The director of magical security for instance. He can commiserate about Newt with them, right? They think they can get away with it, now that Theseus isn't there to stand up for Newt.

Of course Graves picks up on this and can't let it continue. But he does it subtly, letting Newt stand up for himself if he wants. (Though Newt is pretty resigned to his fate.) But if those British wizards are passive aggressively mocking Newt, you better know Graves is gonna passive aggressively make their life miserable. If they have Newt cornered in an empty hallway and Graves finds out? Oh he'll take care of it - no screaming and yelling. No, he'll just come to stand beside Newt, maybe a little too close and smile in that nice calm way which means he's about to fuck you up if you don't run. Now.

Newt is stunned that someone besides Thesues would stand up for him. (Of course Tina, Queenie and the gang will too, if they get the chance) He and Percival grow closer through this and eventually get together.

Tina accidently finds Percival schedule for the day. She plans on returning it like a good minion but her inner investgator can’t resist.

It contains your basic things such as, meet the President, board meetings, lunch, checking in with his Aurors, and meeting ambassadors.

What will Theseus and Percival do when they find out the truth?

- Newt still loves beasts, he consider them more trustworthy than people. He acts shy and socially awkward around people to throw them off his trail. But if it doesn't work than watch out, he is by no means... weak.
