Seeing as we've reached 4,000 comments in Round 1, it's time to make a new one. Same (lack of) rules apply. Gentle reminder to everyone to refrain from posting extremely long prompts, though. While no word limit will be imposed, take note that it is very unlikely for someone to fulfill your prompt if your prompt alone is already several paragraphs long and containing a number of specifications.

Graves is a werewolf. Either he always has been one or was bitten in the line of duty. But the fact that he is a werewolf is top secret, only few people like Picquery know. Grindelwald certaily doesn't know and when preparing to impersonate Graves question "Do you happen to be werewolf?" just doesn't cross his mind. The nearest full moon whatever restrains he had on Graves doesn't work on a werewolf and he breaks loose. And maybe runs into Newt along the way - who is elated.

Yessss. I would love to see Newt comfort Werewolf!Graves.

She's the youngest, the third and the squib. Or so they think.

She survived the dragon pox that killed their parents but the trauma, combined with the horrible way wizarding society treats squibs is sufficient to turn her into an unknowing obscurus. While her sisters are loving to her, there's an awful distance.

And then maybe one day Percival Graves recruits her to go undercover with the Second Salemers because it's too dangerous to send a *real* witch but she doesn't violate the statute of secrecy.

(By the way if your brain has reworked 'The Schuyler Sisters' into 'The Goldstein Sisters' that's totally normal. Porpentina has the same number of syllables as Angelica. Just saying)

So of course Ezra's seen the sex tape...many, many times...and upon meeting Colin somehow lets this slip. As a joke (sort of), when the movie wraps Colin gifts Ezra with a dildo molded from his truly spectacular dick. Alternatively, Ezra is there to ~help out when the cast is being made.

Really, anything involving Ezra being a slut for it is A+! (Hi Ezra!)

This is super hot to me. But I'm wondering, o they actually hook up or do they keep trying to play it off as a risque joke despite the underlying tension? Does Colin get a surprise video a few weeks later?

Grindelwald is nothing if not efficient. So why not make Graves easy to contain AND useful? Cue Grindelwald turning Graves into a fairy and keeping him in a jar - maybe near his bed or over a table that holds his plans - just to use Graves as a light.

Transformation could be from spell or an old ritual or something. Maybe he even enlists actual fairies to do it?

(i know i'm asking a lot).

Grindelwald knows that Graves has the habit of going to bars, getting semi-drunk and picking up random men to take home and he decides to use this. His initial intention is to lure Graves with the promise of having a one-time stand with him, knock him out and take his place. But he ends up going home with him and liking the sex. A lot. He likes Graves too - he has political opinions close to his own, despite his position as Director of Magical Security - he just feels helpless to change anything because he's in charge of a state machine that will keep on working with or without him and he feels deeply helpless to change anything on his own. He's also one very intelligent, talented and incredibly lonely man - perfectly vulnerable for Grindelwald to take advantage of. So instead knocking him out, Grindelwald gradually seduces him - emotionally, physically, sexually and politically and eventually reveals his true identity. By the time he does, Graves is ready to be his agent.

Percival can hardly believe he's in a relationship with Newt and Credence. He's happy until the darkness of what he suffered at Grindelwald's hands come roaring back. It drags him into deep depression but he stubbornly himself puts up the front of being ok to where not even Newt or Credence notice. The creatures however do notice and just when Percival is about to do the unthinkable they alert Newt and Credence.

Newt and Credence are horrified by what nearly happened. They treat any injuries Percival did cause himself and now have to bring their beloved back from the edge. Percival is broken, while Newt and Credence are terrified and also angry at themselves for not noticing their lover was drowning in despair. The creatures just want their family to be ok again.

When MACUSA was able to get Theseus Scamander to interrogate Grindelwald, what they were expecting… was not this. Is that a sock puppet? Everyone soon realizes that Newt is actually the normal one in the family.

Newt hides his face in embarrassment and shame.

Tina can’t contain her laughter and is in tears.

Percival decides its time to check back with the healers because this is all to weird to not be made up by his brain.

Grindelwald thinks its a joke but his face falls when he realizes its not.

I strongly suspected a Garth reference even before I clicked on the link! Seconded!

Newt is noticing some strange similarities between Credence and Percival (wolfing down meals/reluctance to toss away broken things/discomfort with spending money on non-essentials). Credence has noticed them too actually.

They're curious. Percival, with his old family and everything that comes with, should have grown up like a prince surely.

Turns out the Graves family are much better at keeping up appearances than they have at managing their finances. By the time Percival was born they were skint.

Graves feels: kink.

Newt introduces his lovers to his family. Things go really smoothly, which everyone's grateful for.

When it comes about that neither of them actually have any family of their own left (and hadn't for a while), neither Credence nor Percival were exactly expecting to be adopted there and then by Newt's parents.

Suddenly Mrs Scamander is introducing them to hippogriff's ("Both of the boys already have one of their own. I'm sure we'll find two that take a liking to you both.") and Mr Scamander is knitting them scarves and gloves because they looked cold.

+ Newt and Theseus are equal parts sympathetic and pissing themselves with laughter
++ Credence is lapping all the affection up
+++ Percival sort of is too, when nobody's around to see him.

I'm browsing through my old stock of Hammett and Chandler novels, and feel a mighty need of noir AUs or noir pastiches for this verse!

Original Graves as the world-weary private 'tec tracking down the black sheep in the ranks only to find it's his best pal Theseus? Holding pure-hearted babe Newt Scamander after the kid took a stray ~~bullet~~ spell for him? Churning out mundane, cynical similes while chugging the booze at the Whistling Pig?

External point of view a la Hammett? Who owns the elusive Maltese Occamy?

Crack pastiche - they all speak OTT slang, have terrible nicknames (Tessy "The Scam" Ander and his little brother, the Thunderbird Kid, Percy "Gravesdigger" Macusa, Bonesy Cred), fill their hip-pockets with booze and pistols, and sleep with one another while mourning their failed bromances?

Go wild! Go noir!

After the occamies grow up and leave the nest, Dougal misses having little ones to care for. He decides Newt and Tina need to have a baby and proceeds to manipulate every probability he sees to get them intimate.

Up to filler if Newt & Tina are friendly or romantic (and how awkward that makes this).

Well, I have this thought of Newt experimenting with new potions and it just happens that he breathes in what he shouldn't (or he should, for us, yes) Turns out the mixture's smell works as an aphrodisiac for humans, and the thought of having a hot man like Graves just outside his case doesn't help much.

You get the rest, right? I don't mind who tops/bottoms.

Due to a set on contrived circumstances Newt ends up naked in front of a crowd of large people. Newt is hardly embarrassed as by now he's lived in places where nudity is nothing to be ashamed of. But the people who are around him can't help but notice Newt is rather well endowed.

Pairings, if any, are up to filler, please no humiliation kink, and bonus points if you work in the quote in the subject.

Percival is back to work and as formidable as ever, perhaps even more so now after having survived Grindelwald. He meets Newt and secretly it is love at first sight for them both. A tentative friendship begins to form between them and Newt is given a special position by President Piqurey. However it is not all sunshine as daisies as some people in MACUSA are jealous of Newt and think he's a freak.

These individuals start to bully Newt in subtle ways and Newt keeps it all to himself. One day the bullies go too far and Newt in his despair ends up standing on the roof of the Woolworth building ready to jump. Percival finds out and gets there in time and gently talks Newt down. Once he knows Newt is safe, Percival unleashing unholy hell on the bullies responsible before devoting himself to Newt.

Newt is captured by an escaped Grindelwald and his minions and his knowledge of magical creatures is useful and he's a handy hostage to have being the brother of Theseus Scamander and a favourite of Albus.

Newt has been his captive for a while when Grindelwald walks in on him being raped by one his followers

Grindelwald pulls the guy off Newt and kills him on the spot

"There are lines Mr Scamander that even I will not cross"

Please nothing between Newt and Grindelwald.

"I've seen you with your pants down Mr. Scamander. I do believe you can call me Percival."

So this can either be really sexual or really ridiculous, but I juST NEED IT

So we all know that Grave's haircut in FB is Grindelwald's signature cut.
What if this is not at all what Graves's hair looked like but instead Grindelwald couldn't bear to part with his part? So either everyone, or no one notices this sudden new hairstyle that's suspiciously similar to a megalomaniac but oblivious to it, too terrified to ask the director and instead compliment this oddly cropped cut, or Grindelwald is just fantastic at making up reasons for chopping all of his hair off. When real!Graves comes back he's very miffed no one noticed not because of his personality, but because of his poor, ruined, unfairly shorn head.

this has been my headcanon for so long omg

Newt and Credence are all thats left of their group ever since the viral plaque broke out.

Credence worries about Newt, the man hardly sleeps, speaks, eats, and spends an unhealthy amount of time in the basement. The man is unhinged and Credence knows that.

But soon, Credence is horrified to discover how far Newt’s insanity has pushed him, when he discovers that Newts been hoarding the undead corpses of their deceased loved ones in order to find a cure. Newt smiles and speaks to them like they are alive.

Credence is at a loss on what to do, Newt is all Credence has… is he cruel enough to take away the man’s futile hope?

Newt is the observer of beasts and animals, why wouldn’t he observe the undead?

Exactly what the title says, Grindelwald transfigures a captive Graves or Newt if you want to go AU so he looks like Albus and then has his way with him. Bonus points for use of Imperius and/or if Graves or Newt is made to think he actually is Albus.

While Grindelwald was on the run and Newt was writing his book the two meet by chance. Getting drunk they fall into bed together. Who knew years after that they would meet years later in New York.

So when the interrogation at MACUSA happens. Grindelwald is very reluctant to 'dispose' of him.

Because well... Newt was the best lay he ever had... since Dumbledore at least, and since finding out Newt was a former pupil of his ex, he really doesn't want to let him go. He is the only connection he has to Dumbledore now.

Problem is, Newt doesn't realize the man he slept with is Grindelwald that night and tries to figure out how to save the man while not trying to blow his cover?

Near the end of the movie, instead of smacking Credence, Grindelwald realized he was the obscurus and took him away. He gave him anything his heart desired to keep him his devoted pet monster.

Except, by the time Grindelwald is captured, all its done is make Credence a spoiled brat.

Fact 1: Newt feels safer around his creatures than other humans.
Fact 2: The case is a fucking marvel, but I didn't see a sleeping cot in there.

Headcanon: Newt sleeps in the habitats. Curled up in a tree, beneath the wings of a hippogriff or dragon, in a moon calf cuddlepile. You get the drift. Somewhere in the case he also has a nest like the occamies have where he loves to curl up in beneath a pile of blankets. More often than not the occamies and Dougal join him there protecting their mummy. His friends find out.

So maybe 5 times where they search for Newt in the case and find him sleeping + 1 time Newt actually sleeps in a bed held by his very own security blanket Percival Graves.

Grindelwald has a weird sense of taking revenge.

He ambushes Newt and places him under a curse which he can only be saved from by true love's first kiss. Problem is that Newt has a bond with two persons. Noone realises because one of them is his older brother Theseus and their magic is almost indistinguishable from each other.

Grindelwald had/ has a similar triad bond with the Dumbledore brothers although he never acted on it with Aberforth. That's why he and only he knows. And that's why he's sure that Newt will never wake up again.

Bonus: Dougal the demiguise gets loose at one point and saves the day.
